Wyoming Convention of States Resolution Denied a Vote

Our Convention of States champions tried to keep the Convention of States resolution alive but sadly it didn't survive the debate and did not get a vote. The good news still is that we have some real warriors in the WY State Legislature. They used every process they could to move the resolution forward.

We must not be deterred. The battle to restore our Constitutional Republic is not for the faint of heart. We must all continue to engage with our legislators. Don't assume. Be sure you know where your legislator stands.

An Article V convention of states is the constitutional process specifically inserted in the Constitution to provide a method for our State Legislatures to control and restrain the federal government. Wyoming must get on board and join the 19 other states that have already recognized that this is the peaceful, legal, constitutional option. We can talk all we like about federal overreach but talking doesn't change anything. We must take action. Convention of States is the action.

Through this process we can:

* Limit the spending in D.C.
* Limit power and jurisdiction of D.C.
* Limit the terms of office of the bureaucrats and congress

Thank you again for all your efforts. Don't stop just because the session is over for us. Keep spreading the word, talking to your legislators and get involved. Go to Convention of States / Take Action. Become a volunteer.
