We Show our Colors
After multiple severe weather warnings and the passing of some heavy rains, our group of dedicated patriots gathered in Aurora, Illinois to celebrate our country's birthday. Start of Parade The group included DCs (holding the banner), an RC, a declared candidate for the US Senate and other like minded souls. We gathered about 8:30 in preparation for the start at 9 AM but waited until after 10 AM to begin the march. Groups had been assembled on adjacent streets measuring about six city blocks of continuous (no spaces) organizations. The parade lasted over 2 hours - beginning at 9 AM and ending just after 11 AM. Our walk lasted about an hour to cover the 1 mile course. We walked, we talked, we laughed, we shook a lot of hands and passed out a lot of COS action cards and other materials. |
