1. COS Action Account

Create your COS Action Account, if you have not done so already at www.conventionofstates.com; Click Log In > Sign Up to set-up your account.  Make sure you allow COS Action to send you emails and text messages.

2. Convention of States University (3 hours)

These four video courses take about three hours (total) to complete and will give you a great foundation in all things COS. Feel free to listen to the courses (GOV 100, COS 100, COS 200, and VOL 100) like a podcast.

* COS 100 Introduction to Convention of States (44 minutes)
* COS 200 Responding to Opposition (27 minutes)
* VOL 100 Introduction to Volunteering (57 minutes)
* GOV 100 Constitutional Literacy (45 minutes)

3. Download and install the COS Action App to your mobile device

COSAction provides information and tools to COS Volunteers. Users are able to read current news, provide reports on work done outside of Citizen Builder, participate in TelePatriot call missions, receive calls for action, and connect with state leaders and team members all within the app.

TelePatriot is used for national and state call missions. Once you are set up as a TelePatriot volunteer in Citizen Builder you will access all necessary information to complete calls for each mission. Please click HERE to watch a video to become more comfortable with how to use TelePatriot.

Zulip is a channel based messaging platform. Think of instant messaging with various “channels” where different topics are discussed.
