Virginia Rally Day set for January 18

Mark your calendars to join Jim DeMint and other COS Virginia supporters on January 18 to call a Convention of States.

It's time to Rally for the Republic!

In a matter of days we will rally together to urge Virginia’s legislators to vote 'Yes' and call for a Convention of States to rein in the federal government.

Spend the day with us on January 18.

9:00am

* Meet at the SunTrust Building, 3rd Floor cafeteria, Meriwethers Market, 919 E Main St, Richmond, VA 23219
* From there we will form groups to meet with our state legislators, informing them of their role in supporting an Article V Convention of States

12:00pm: Break for lunch

1:00pm

* Former Senator Jim DeMint, Senior Advisor to Convention of States, will speak to grassroots activists from across Virginia.
* Rita Dunaway, Constitutional Lawyer and Legislative Liaison for COS Action will also speak.
* Meet at the Bell Tower, Richmond State Capitol Square, 101 North 9th St, Richmond, VA 23219
* Please arrive 15 minutes early

2:00pm: We will go as a group to the Capitol Building to view the General Assembly in session to make our presence known.

After that, the day is yours. Capitol tours are free and worth the time.

Rain or shine. It’s January, and the rally is outdoors, so dress accordingly.

No food, beverages, or drones. All are invited!

Parking Lots 1110 E Cary St, Bank of America parking deck, is the closest (595 spaces)

Can’t attend the rally? You can still participate! On rally day, call and email your state delegate and state senator. Ask them to vote 'Yes' for the Convention of States resolution.
