Uncle Sam’s Investment in Intelligent Ants

National Science Foundation (NSF) fritters away $675,000 of our tax dollars studying the collective intelligence of ants.

Wrap your mind around this one.

The Federal government wastes millions of tax dollars each year on useless research projects (those without tangible outcomes). One such instance is the waste of $675,000 by the National Science Foundation (NSF) to study the social life and “Collective Intelligence” of ants and their subfamilies.

The NSF funded Boston University in 2014 to analyze the evolution and development of the ant brain (dealing with socialization). Somehow, the intent was to apply this research to humans.

There is already a plethora of significant research on humans available that shows that socialization is critical for humans’ brain health, beginning in the womb.

Instead of utilizing public research, our government wasted $675,000 to find out what is already known.

Stay tuned to our Blogs to know more about how your government is frittering away your money.
