| In an act for accountability, former President Donald Trump has sued CNN for defamation, claiming the news outlet created a “campaign of libel and slander” against him. The 29-page lawsuit seeks $475 million against the new outlets for the damages caused to Trump politically. Trump added that there will be more lawsuits to come against other major media companies in the weeks ahead. The difficult battle between truth and deceit is in full-force across American education systems, government systems, and media entities. No matter the narrative, our society has created a world where little information can be trusted. Many statements said as fact include no truth at all anymore. Vice versa, real facts in today's age are dismissed as misinformation. “As a part of its concerted effort to tilt the political balance to the left, CNN has tried to taint the Plaintiff with a series of ever-more scandalous, false, and defamatory labels of 'racist,' 'Russian lackey,' 'insurrectionist,' and ultimately 'Hitler,'” the lawsuit claims. The Biden administration has recently joined this trend, where everything is seen as subjective and nothing is seen as absolute truth. Whether that means misconstruing the meaning of equality vs. equity, gender vs. sex, women vs. female or democracy vs. republic. The administration was quick to redefine 'recession' weeks before the U.S. was officially in a recession. The definition of fully vaccinated changes on nearly a monthly basis. Other subjective words that are used to aggravate and confuse include extremist, expert and birthing person. Meaning is lacking and provocative messaging is plentiful. Let's get back to a reality where there is a difference between right and wrong, fact and fiction….
