USAID fritters away $50 million of our tax money.
| Did you know that the US Department of State under the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) spent $50,000,000 on a campaign called “Visit Tunisia” to promote tourism in an African country Do a quick search on Google, and you will find Tunisia among the top ten countries in Africa, with tourism contributing $1.1 billion in 2020. It is also worth mentioning that 6.3 million tourists visited Tunisia in 2022. It is beyond reason, why our government is so concerned about the tourism of a country with such an enhanced tourist sector. Even if it were not so developed in tourism, why would our government spend our money to promote tourism in a foreign country?
