The rise and fall of the ruling class

Over the last 50 years the federal government has incrementally moved into an entitled, elitist mentality.

Over the last 50 years the federal government has incrementally moved into an entitled, elitist mentality.

Their behavior brings to mind the famous words of the ultimate elitist, Marie Antoinette.  When told about her subjects having no bread and starving she replied, “Qi'ils mangent de la brioche” (“Then let them eat cake”).

Several politicians and bureaucrats consider themselves to be “The Ruling Class” of our country. Bureaucrats like Bruce Ohr, Peter Strzok, Andrew McCabe, James Comey, and others along with members of Congress like the late John McCain, Mitch McConnell, Patrick Leahy, Maxine Waters, Nancy Pelosi, and many others, exhibit an arrogant elitism.

They treat those that would dare to question their decisions or tenure with contempt. When someone challenges them, they are warned by people like Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer: “You take on the intelligence community, they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you.”

He has been proven right. We are learning every day about how the DOJ has become weaponized to promote political agendas while attacking opposing views. Career bureaucrats like Peter Strzok and Rod Rosenstein exhibit arrogance bordering on contempt toward those with constitutional oversight duties.

Many of these people have been in power for over thirty years. They have been making alliances to consolidate and protect their fortunes and their influence. The election of people outside of “The Ruling Class,” like Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, Jim Jordan, President Trump, and the rise of grassroots organizations like Convention of States, the NRA, and the Tea Party, has disrupted this well-oiled machine.

The last two years have been uncomfortable, but they have also been good for our country. Trump Derangement Syndrome, 70% distrust of the mainstream media, the rising popularity of political outsiders, growing distrust of Congress, and rising enrollments in common sense organizations has resulted in panic for those in power.

Those seeking to protect and preserve “The Ruling Class” have thrown away their facades and stand completely exposed for what they really are: arrogant elitists. In their desperation these elitists have exposed bias, corruption, and injustice at a level never seen in Washington before.

Evidence is showing that members of “The Ruling Class” from both parties weaponized the DOJ, CIA, FBI and the IRS. Members of the press, campaigns, people and organizations with opposing views were spied on and attacked by these bureaus using audits, punitive investigations, and leaks.

When confronted with these misdeeds they have used leaks, procrastination, redaction and so-called “protection of classified material, means and methods” to cover their track

The fall of “The Ruling Class” is happening. Their world has been disrupted. But there is much more to be done, and Article V of the Constitution gives us the means to make those changes.

The Founding Fathers knew tyranny would come. They knew people of questionable character would succumb to the temptations of power and seek to enrich, entrench, and empower themselves.  They knew these people would find ways to permanently stay in office. That’s why they unanimously approved Article V of the Constitution.

Article V gives the people the right to petition their state to call a Convention of States to amend the Constitution. “The Ruling Class” will never vote to limit their terms in office or their ability to spend money.

Thanks to Article V, we can force the issue.

Twelve states have already called for a Convention of States.   Several others are considering it. We need 22 more states to move forward.

We ask for your help. Join us in reclaiming our country from “The Ruling Class.” Browse www.conventionofstates.com for more information.
