THE ILLUSION OF LIBERTY (Introduction)

====== Introduction ======

In the eighteenth century the founders and patriots of this nation we know as the United States of America fought a hard-won war against England, one of the mightiest nations of the world. The war was won, but the work of building a self-governing nation was yet to be done. The founders knew that establishing a national sovereignty was not enough. They did not return to their domestic toils and rest on one victory for independence. They knew that state and individual rights must be fleshed out and defined if this country was to endure as a self-governing nation.

The real struggle began when the founders commenced the framing of the Constitution of the United States of America. The Articles of Confederation (1777-1781) served as the written document that established the functions of the national government of the United States after it declared independence from Great Brittain. This document was insufficient for a growing nation and lacked comprehensiveness that was meant for a unification of the States of the new America. This became the real battle - establishing a document that was meant to protect the rights of the individual citizen and the states from an overreaching central government, establish laws, and develop a framework in which a society could function together.

Let me introduce myself. I am Jim Gendill, a COS member since April, 2024. I am a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served in a Navy Special Warfare Unit during the early years of the Vietnam conflict. I owned my own business as a Forensic Structural Engineer for over twenty years, and retired at the ripe age of 77 years. Unfortunately, I cannot seem to fully retire.

For 30 years I have researched and read everything I could find to try to understand why the nation is in such dire straits today. We all know that Washington D.C. is broken, but I wanted to know WHY it's broken and how it happened. I believe I have found some interesting answers, and I want to share them with you over the next several months so that you can know what I know and understand just how large our problem is. Now we must deal with a mighty foe just as our forebearers did all those many years ago. Then maybe you will have a deeper appreciation for the work COS is doing and how important that work is in curtailing the over-reach of government. Granted, it is a daunting task to repair the damage to this nation, but I believe we can salvage from the destruction of our liberty, freedom, and yes, our sovereignty and a better and stronger nation. This country is worth saving from the damage the globalists have done to it since the end of World War II. COS is the only organization that is doing the hard work of trying to fix the rot in our government to restore a semblance of self-government back to the people. This is the organization I have turned to help spread the truth about the globalist's intentions of eliminating our Constitution and striping America of its sovereignty status in a one world government.

I see it as my duty to help you discover more about our enemies and what their intentions are for our nation. I will take you back 139-years to the beginning when a Frenchman named Gustave Le Bon published a book in 1886 that changed the manner of governance from a representative democracy to the soft tyranny we live under today.

You will discover just how dangerous propaganda is to a democratic republic and see examples of how it has been used to dupe the masses and manipulate public opinion. You will learn who the real enemies are that America must face and what their real agenda is for this country. You will see what lengths our government will go to deceive us, and how dangerous intelligence agencies are to our foreign policy as well as to the people of America. There is a reason why the schools in America are at the bottom of scholastic achievement compared to other countries regardless of how much money is thrown (away) at education. You will learn about the powerful influence such organizations as the United Nations, the World Economic Forum, World Health Organization, and others have on our policy makers in Washington. There is a reason why the media is no longer the 4th Estate and the watch dog over government but relegated to the position of government's lap dog. The powerful influence that captains of industry have over elected officials, the CIA's influence on policy, the control the international banking industry has on American policy, and how dangerous the Council of Foreign Relations is to our liberty will all be topics of further discussion.

Why am I doing this? Someone has to shine the light on the shadow government of unelected entities that drastically influence and direct our nation toward a leadership by tyranny. But it will take all of us to expose the cockroaches hiding in the dark in order to regain the Republic to which we pledge our allegiance. Because America is worth saving, we must have the strength of knowledge to defeat those who would dismantle the only country that stands on the pinnacle of liberty as an example of a free nation to the world.
