The Grass is Growing in Northeastern Mass!

“I firmly believe that we have an opportunity to make our voices heard loudly in Massachusetts.”

Is Haverhill the new Concord and Lexington?

Just as the American Revolution spread from a single shot heard around the world, the Convention of States movement is taking hold in Northeastern Massachusetts.

Haverhill Meet & Greet

The COS movement in Haverhill started with monthly
“Meet & Greet” gatherings.

A Facebook group page called “COS Patriots” was started this past June by Convention of States volunteer Ted Xenakis, a now-retired lawyer who has been a lifelong supporter of our Constitution and a staunch believer in American liberty by and for the People.

Ted volunteered to be a Social Media Warrior for the Massachusetts Leadership Team and has recently expanded his role to Regional Captain.

Simply by spreading the word about Convention of States and the group on Facebook, a core group of patriots in the Haverhill area began following the page.

Ted decided to host a small gathering at his home to let his friends and acquaintances know more about Article V of the Constitution and how we can return the power of governance to the People. More than 25 people came to the Xenakis’ home for the conversation and joined in the movement.

Xenakis Home Meeting

Ted Xenakis hosted an informational gathering with
more than 25 friends and acquaintances.

This past October, Ted coordinated a larger presentation at his church to meet and listen to COS President Mark Meckler, who traveled out of his way to help the Massachusetts Team grow more grassroots.

Almost 100 concerned citizens attended the presentation, and many of them went online to sign the petition and volunteer to help.

So how can you help grow some grassroots in your town?

“Invite your friends to get involved and sign the online petition to let your politicians know you support the Convention of States movement. If you like, join our state leadership team to get support for meetings and gatherings of your own.”

Lawn Signs Spreading

Regional Captain Ted Xenakis and
Facebook friends are funding and placing lawn
signs all around the area!

“I firmly believe that we have an opportunity to make our voices heard loudly in Massachusetts.” he states. “After all, the Revolution started in our backyard. We can make a huge difference in today’s fractured and out of control Federal government.”

We hope you’ll get involved! To see the different ways you can help, visit our Take Action page and volunteer.
