Target Group

: Texas COS Volunteer Activists, COS Leaders, and Texas Legislators

Goal

:

Ensure the prayer needs of the Target Group are fully met.

Activities

: Prayer Team Support Coordinator will lead a team of Volunteer Activists to:

•

Incorporate the COS Prayer Warriors into the Prayer Team Support Group

•

Support the prayer needs at COS Texas events including:

•

Block Walking Events

•

Capitol Visits

•

Legislator/Officials Meetings

•

COS Public Presentations/Training Events

•

COS Internal Events

•

Facilitate the monthly Texas State Legislators Prayer Request Calls

•

Support specific prayer needs for individual Texas Legislators, COS 
Volunteers and COS Leaders.

Call Script:

“Hello, my name is [your name] with Texas Convention of States P

rayer Team.  

We call all of our Texas legislators once a month to see if you have specific 
prayer requests that you would like us to be praying with the legislator, and your 

team about?”

Making Calls

If No Answer and Leaving a Message:

“If you have prayer request, please give me a call back at [phone number] and I 

will glad to share those request with our Texas prayer team and be praying with 

you about them.” 

Ending Script (Answered or Leaving a Message:

“Thank you for your service and blessings to you and your team.”

with another legislative prayer team member to provide coverage for making the calls in your place.
