No. 2 85(R) applying to Congress for an Article V convention to propose amendments that would impose fiscal restraints on the federal government, limit the power and jurisdiction of the federal government, and set term limits for federal officials and members of Congress. Furthermore, during the 89<sup>th<:sup> Regular Session of the Texas Legislature, I pledge to support the repeal of S.J.R. No. 38 85(R), which calls for the cancellation of S.J.R. No. 2 after its eighth anniversary of passage.
