The Oklahoma Senate Rules Committee passed SJR41 in a 9-1 vote on February 26. This measure would extend the Convention of States resolution's sunset clause to December 2028.

Now the resolution will go to the House Rules Committee and then to the full Oklahoma House before it goes to theSenate.

A few COS Oklahoma volunteers were able to attend the hearing to show support for the passage of the resolution, including State Director John Guinn, District Captains Cheryl Edwards and David Lipham, Legislative Liaison Kevin Tutty, and State Communications Coordinator Susie McCleskey.
