SD How does your Legislator Elect Stand?--Vilhauer
| URGENT! Does your newly elected legislator stand with SD Convention of States? We need you to call Glen A Vilhauer, legislator elect in Senate District 5 at (605) 868-3239. You can also email Glen.Vilhauer@sdlegislature.gov and bring more detail regarding an Article V convention. The SD legislature will be considering the Convention of States resolution again in January. This is your opportunity to let your newly elected legislator know that you want them to vote YES on the Convention of States resolution. You can use these talking points to help with your conversation: (Remember to be kind and respectful) * Let them know you are a voter in their district. * Thank them for their willingness to serve South Dakota. * An Article V convention provides the only real opportunity to restore the original intent of the constitution and impose: * Term Limits on bureaucrats and congress * Fiscal Restraint on the Federal Government * Limits on the Power of the Federal Government * State legislators have the power and duty to restrain the federal government - it's time to use it. * This is the opportunity for South Dakota to become the 20th state to pass the resolution * Can I count on your leadership in the effort to pass Convention of States in South Dakota? |
