Rhode Island Reaches 5,000 Petition Milestone!

The Rhode Island Convention of States team has something BIG to celebrate—on August 22nd, at the Goddard Park Farmers Market, we officially crossed the 5,000 petition mark!

At the beginning of the year, our team set a bold goal: pass 5,000 petitions in support of Convention of States. Thanks to hard work, determination, and true patriot grit, that goal is now a reality.

One of the driving forces behind this success is District Captain Barbara Lardner. With her “Term Limits” and “Balance the Budget” signs, a clipboard full of petitions, and an unwavering belief that the people of Rhode Island deserve a voice, Barbara has been a constant presence at farmers markets and community events across the state. Her passion and dedication embody what it means to be a grassroots patriot.

But Barbara is not alone, she’s part of a courageous Rhode Island team that refuses to give up. Volunteering for Convention of States in Rhode Island isn’t easy, but our team proves every day that with perseverance, we can win big victories.

5,000 petitions is just the beginning. The federal government may be growing out of control, but here in Rhode Island, we are growing a movement of citizens who know there’s a solution, and they’re ready to take action.
