September Events and Requests



Constitution Day is September 17. Pray for events that are happening around that time to
promote COS and constitutional principles.



Pray for state strategy meetings that are happening around the country; ask God for wisdom
as strategic plans are laid for 2021.



Mark Meckler has been doing more traveling in recent weeks. Pray for stamina and wisdom
for him.

This year, the founder of Patriot Academy, Rick Green, is teaming up with COS president
Mark Meckler to offer Constitution Alive classes to COS volunteers. Give thanks for the great
attendance at the initial webinar. And pray for this effort to have a great and long-lasting
impact on the COS movement. Specifically ask that half of those who are attending the
webinars will duplicate themselves by passing on the teaching to others. Also pray Isaiah 54:2,
asking God to  “enlarge the place of the tent” of Patriot Academy, increasing their opportunities
and influence.

We are so grateful, Lord, that you are a mighty warrior and that your presence is with us. We
acknowledge that we are in great need of your power and mercy, and so we call on you to bring
salvation to our nation. We confess that our nation deserves your rebuke for our many evil practices
and policies. Make us a people that brings you great delight, and a nation that you rejoice over.

Daily Prayer Guide for September 2020

1  Pennsylvania: pray for the effectiveness of

grassroots communication as we push for
a committee hearing in the Senate in
September.

2  Continue to pray for an end to the violence

that is occurring in our nation, and that it
will motivate a great turning to the Lord.

3  Nevada: ask God to raise up a State Director

and Grassroots Coordinator.

4  New Hampshire: pray that God will open

events to be able to raise name recognition
and build the team.

5  Wisconsin: let’s join SD Joanne Laufenberg

in asking that God’s word and truth would
be evident in every aspect of the political
arena.

6  Continue to pray for a resolution to the

problems with the COS email system.

7  Maine: thank God for the passion of this

young team and pray that statewide leader-
ship will be raised up.

8  Pray Proverbs 3:5-6 for the COS movement—

that we would always acknowledge the Lord
and trust in his direction.

9  New Mexico: pray for the state leadership to

fully make use of the many tools that are
available for growth—the COSAction app,
Citizen Builder website, Slack, etc.

10  California: lift up a specific supporter who is

enthusiastic about volunteering, but he and
his wife do not agree politically. Pray for
biblical unity in their marriage and in the
homes of all COS supporters.

11  Texas: lift up the state strategy meetings

happening this weekend.

12  Ask God to bless our Regional Directors:

Dennis Denton, Grant Martin, Monica
Sellers, David Schneider, Susan Peters,
Catherine Zemanek, and Rodney Huckle-
berry. Pray for safety in travels and the
ability to rally the troops.

13  Rhode Island and Vermont: pray for the

effectiveness of both social and print media
to build the team of volunteers.

14  South Dakota: give thanks for many petition

signatures and for a successful surgery for
the daughter of a district captain.

15  Pray for our nation to humble itself before

the Lord and experience the fear of God—
Psalm 147:11.

16  Mississippi: lift up the planning and execu-

tion of town hall meetings across the state
during September through November.

17  Happy Constitution Day! Give thanks for the

providential wisdom that resulted in our
brilliant Constitution.

events and testifying in state legislatures

A breakthrough in Eagle Forum's opposition to COS

18  Continue to pray for God’s mercy in bring-

ing an end to the global pandemic.

19  Arkansas: pray for a successful state

summit meeting today, and specifically
that there will be good attendance.

20  California and Oregon: ask God to raise up

patriots to serve as state directors.

21  New Mexico: pray for success in coalition-

building efforts.

22  In our fight for liberty, let’s remember the

thousands of Christians around the world
who are persecuted for their faith.

23  Nevada: pray regarding efforts to hold regu-

lar state-wide meetings for COS volunteers.

24  Pray for two prayer events happening in

Washington, D.C. this weekend. Ask for
safety for the participants and for the
presence of the Holy Spirit to empower these
intercessors.

25  South Dakota and Florida: pray for successful

state strategy meetings in SD today and FL
tomorrow.

26  New York: lift up the COS presence at

Oktoberfest events today.

27  Pray for health and protection over our

President and his family and staff.

28  Mississippi: continue to pray for healing

for cancer patients Bruce Cook and Eric
Bradley. Give thanks that so far there have
been no COVID-19 cases among the team.

29  Hawaii: pray for an influx of new volunteers

and for the ability to focus on the small,
simple tasks they can do.

30  Arkansas: lift up efforts to prevent rescission

of the COS resolution that passed in 2019.
Pray specifically that a GOP leader who is a
major opponent will be defeated in her bid
for the role of state chair of the Arkansas
Republican Party.
