Prayer Warriors Battle Plan - October 2021
Attachment: 2420/PrayerGuide_Oct2021.pdf
![]() Prayer Warriors Battle Plan October 2021 October Events and Requests Give thanks for a specific answer to prayer: our new Senior Advisor, Sen. Rick Santorum! Pray that he will be effective in assisting Mark Meckler with his intense travel and speaking schedule—a need we have been laying before the Lord for the past couple years. Lift up the movement of the resolution in several states. Pray for wisdom to know how to best communicate to legislators, specifically in PA, NC, and SC. Our new mentoring department is exploding with interest in Servant Leadership classes, Bible Studies and those who want to go deeper with one-on-one mentoring in the SHAWL series. Pray for wisdom and time for national staff to meet these discipleship opportunities. Leadership Prayer Focus Attendees on the September prayer call had a chance to hear from Grant Martin, Regional Director for NC, SC, KY, VA, WV, and CO. Grant requests prayer specifically for passage of the COS resolution in North Carolina, where there are obstacles in the Senate. Also ask the Lord to bless him with strength, courage, and wisdom he needs to serve in his role and for steadfastness, strength, and faith for the teams he oversees. Scripture of the Month Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up… “And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?” — Luke 18:1, 7 & 8 Lord, we confess that your idea of bringing justice “quickly” does not always match our expecta- tions. We see such enormous problems in our nation that apparently are not being addressed, and even seem too large to be solved by normal political processes. We’ve been pursuing an Article V convention for years now and there is much opposition. But we know the real issue at hand is not your power or purposes, but our faith. Let us be people in whom you find faith on the earth. Give us your insight into your perspective and trust in you when the answer seems delayed. We thank you in advance for all you are doing. Second Sunday Prayer Call - Sunday, October 10, 9:00 pm Eastern On line: https://meet.jit.si/cosprayerwarriors, password: liberty By phone: 512-647-1431, access code: 533 792 80# ![]() Daily Prayer Guide for October 2021 1 New York and Illinois: ask for great connec- tions at The World's Largest Garage Sale and the Sangamon County Gun Show this weekend, as well as the NEACA Gun Show next weekend. 2 Wisconsin: Praise report! Sen. Andre Jacque, COS sponsor, is out of the hospital and re- covering from COVID. This is a testimony to the power of prayer, because it really did not look like he would recover. Thank you Lord! 3 North Carolina: there are seven senators that are either opposed or unwilling to take a stand on COS. We need at least five of these folks to change their minds to get passed in the Senate. 4 Arizona: lift up AG Mark Brnovitch who is the official responsible for taking action on the election audit results. 5 Pray 2 Thessalonians 1:11 as a blessing over all our COS volunteers. 6 Lift up Regional Director Susan Peters as she manages with less-than-ideal internet access, and pray for a good resolution. 7 Alabama: pray that the Education Task Force will have much success uncovering CRT in schools, as well as businesses and churches. Also join the team in praying for proper dealing with the vaccine mandates. 8 Illinois: lift SD David Winters and the team as they decide about the best date for a rally at the capital. 9 Delaware: pray for good weather, great connections, and hundreds of petition signa- tures at the Apple Scrapple Festival today. Also ask God to raise up DCs in two key locations, Districts 13 and 14. 10 Indiana: lift up Dave Trombley who is battling bone marrow cancer, and Tim Heidenreich’s daughter Jennifer who is also suffering with cancer. 11 Louisiana: pray for relief from rain and espe- cially hurricanes. Many people are suffering and living in primitive conditions, especially in the bayou. Those hit hardest are often quite poor. Pray for strength and effective- ness for relief workers. 12 Pray for leaders for the COS Prayer Warriors Team who have a calling to prayer. 13 Texas: pray for success in filling precincts with chairs and delegates and voter regis- trars characterized by strong relationships. Also lift up the Follow-up Team as they work to keep up with the influx of supporters and maintain a personal touch.. 14 Wisconsin: pray for passage in the Senate before the end of the year. The Power of Prayer Our basis of faith for having every prayer answered: Continue to ask, and God will give to you. Continue to search, and you will find. Continue to knock, and the door will open for you. Yes, whoever continues to ask will receive. Whoever continues to look will find. And whoever continues to knock will have the door opened for them. Do any of you have a son? If he asked for bread, would you give him a rock? Or if he asked for a fish, would you give him a snake? Of course not! Even you bad people know how to give good things to your children. So surely your heavenly Father will give good things to those who ask him. — Matthew 7: 7-11 (ERV) ![]() 15 Rhode Island: thank God for the effective use of last year's strategy of communication for growth. Pray for this year's activation of those who have signed the petition. 16 The problem of social media censorship has the potential to affect the COS message. Pray for a solution that reflects the princi- ples of free speech, promotes integrity, and respects the free market system 17 New Hampshire: pray for the activation of the NH surge strategy. 18 North Carolina: join SD Joy Ruhmann in praying for a state grassroots coordinator to help with the many responsibilities that are currently piled on her. 19 South Dakota: pray for more leadership roles to be filled and for reliable applicants who will persevere through the on-boarding process. Also pray for success in many upcoming events. 20 In our fight for liberty, let’s remember the thousands of Christians around the world who are persecuted for their faith. 21 Virginia: ask for success in block-walking efforts, and continue to pray that God will raise up a state director. 22 Pennsylvania: pray for continued engage- ment of supporters as the resolution moves through the legislature, Senate first. 23 Georgia: lift up the state strategy meeting happening today and tomorrow. 24 Nevada: give thanks for the new State Director and Grassroots Coordinator. Help them and the rest of the Nevada team to fill many more volunteer roles. 25 Louisiana: give thanks for the safe return of James Carignan, son of COS volunteers, from Afghanistan. Continue to pray for a state communications coordinator. 26 Colorado: pray for a contact in CO to send items for the prayer guide. 27 David Horowitz is a strong COS advocate with a unique perspective on the dangers of the far-left agenda. He values the Christian faith and its political benefits, but calls himself an agnostic personally. Ask God to draw him to faith. 28 Maine: give thanks for a good complement of DCs, and pray for a grassroots coordinator. 29 Texas: pray for growth in the Texas prayer team and veterans coalition.
