Prayer Warriors
Battle Plan
January 2020
January Events and Requests
•
Many states begin new legislative sessions at the beginning of the year. Pray for state leader-
ship, particularly legislative liaisons, to have wisdom regarding legislative strategy.
•
Ask God to raise up another influential, patriotic “headliner” to assist COS President Mark
Meckler in traveling, providing expert testimony and bringing a bit of “star power” to state
legislators. Also pray for supernatural health and strength for Mark as so much of this re-
sponsibility falls on him.
Leadership Prayer Focus
Monica Sellers
serves as Regional Director for six states: Massa-
chusetts, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, and Illinois.
She also provides leadership for the Social Media Warrior team.
Monica is a busy lady, raising no less than 13 little Sellers patriots in
addition to her COS activities. Several family members are also COS
volunteers. She asks for wisdom and guidance in all these respon-
sibilities, and God’s providence as she helps grow the teams in the
states she oversees. Join her in expressing gratitude for the good leaders she works with and
for God’s abundant blessings on her region.
Scripture of the Month
Now may God, the source of hope, fill you with all joy and peace as you believe,
so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
— Romans 15:13
Father God, a new year is beginning and many challenges are before us. Thank you that you are
the God of hope and so we can always be hopeful in your power and good purposes. We pray
specifically for those that are burdened and discouraged, that you will fill them with hope. Protect
us from cynicism which is very easy to succumb to as we see corruption all around us. Give us a
vision for how you want to use the Convention of States movement and us as we serve you
through our work as patriots and believers.
