February Events and Requests

•

Pray for Mark Meckler and Senior Advisor Tom Coburn as they travel extensively during the
legislative session speaking on behalf of the COS movement.

•

Ben Shapiro and the Daily Wire will be starting a COS promotion in February. Pray for a
great impact, especially among Millennials.

•

There are efforts to rescind the COS resolution in some of the states that have already
passed the COS resolution, specifically Alabama and North Dakota. We expect to see others
as well. Pray that the grassroots will stay engaged and vigilant in the passed states.

Leader of the Month

Brandon Benson

is a new Regional Director, providing leadership in

Nebraska, Wyoming, Utah, South Dakota, Arkansas, and Illinois. He
has also served as Legislative Liaison in Nebraska.

As a new RD, Brandon is experiencing the challenge of learning his
way around these states in the middle of the sprint of the legislative
session. He’s thankful for the way the state teams have shown him
understanding and patience during the process. He asks prayer that
he will be able to remember in the midst of the sprint that our effort is
a marathon, and that he will follow in the steps of the Lord.

Lord, as you examine the earth for those whose hearts are yours, we want the Convention of
States movement to be among those who catch your eye. We want to be people after your heart
and those you desire to bless because we please you. We ask you to strengthen and empower us
in this work and grant us your providential grace. Give us success and may we glorify you in it.

effective in helping see the COS resolution
passed in 2019, and for a good Senate com-

our new Technical Support Manager. Ask
God to bless him in this position.

18  Pray for Christian leaders to develop a vision

for the role of the church in supporting po-
litical liberty and the Article V movement.
Pray also for the development of a COS
Christian Leaders Coalition.
