The Power of Prayer

Jeremiah 29: 11-14 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts
of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go
and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search
for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back from
your captivity. . . . “

God hears our prayers. He promises that He will answer us when we seek with our whole
heart. He restores us to freedom.

Pray for a successful

presentation at a GOP meeting in
Vermillion, SD and for the commissioners
going to the Article V Experience.

6 & 7 NC:

Pray for unity and faith among

the NC State Team, “Your Will and Your
Way Ahead.”

8 & 9 SC:

Continue to pray for Sam and

Nadine McDonald’s health struggles.

10 & 11 KY:

Pray for healing for the son of

Regional Captain Hank Gieseler.

12 & 13 OH:

Pray that the Lord would guide

COS volunteers to become more engaged
with Convention of States to fill our vacant
slots of District Captains.

14 & 15 NJ:

Please pray for a good

outcome for NJ Regional Captain Bob
Nordin undergoing a heart ablation
procedure on 9/16/24 @1PM ET to relieve
severe supra-ventricular-tachycardia. A
pacemaker would be the next step if this
does not stop the cause of the arrhythmia.

Father, we volunteers in Florida

offer ourselves as vessels for Your work.
Please use us for Your plan, fill us with Your
strength, use our voices to share Your
wisdom in ways that those listening may
truly hear You. Father, we ask that You be
ever present in our thoughts, actions, and
words as we strive, each day, to grow our
army to serve Your purpose in our nation.
And Father, for those of us who need
healing, we ask that each and every one of
us be healed, if it be Your will. Amen.

18 & 19 OH:

Pray that Ohio

Representatives would have their hearts
softened, enabling them to break out from
under the JBS spell.

20 & 21 OR:

Pray for Oregon’s State Team

meeting in Eugene to plan and strategize for
the coming year. “Father, we come to You
and ask that You protect ORCOS team
members from where they are traveling from
to arrive safely, and on their return home.
We ask that You bless us with unity and
support to help and encourage each other,
so we can succeed and work together to
produce results in Your name. Unite us
towards our THERE.”

22 & 23 KY:

Pray healing over former State

Director Brett Green, who had to step down
due to liver and foot ailments.

24 & 25 MI:

Praise God for the work He is

doing in the hearts of Michigan Legislators.
Pray that He would continue the work He
has started, that he would uplift the
Michigan team, and that He would be
glorified in Michigan.

26 & 27 OH:

Pray that COS leaders and

volunteers can discern the correct balance
between our work for COS and our families.

28 & 29 SD:

Prayer for a successful

educational meeting in South Dakota on
9/30/24

30 National:

Pray for the Mentoring

Department‘s discernment of volunteer
Prayer Warrior Team Leadership
applications, that God would lead us to pick
the right future leaders for this ministry.
