The Holy Bible is not a book of instructions. It is a book of principles and stories. However,
when it comes to prayer, God is very clear that we are to pray - and what we are to pray for.

Pray for others - pray for all the Saints
Pray for churches - those you know and those unknown to you
Pray for wisdom and revelation
Pray that the Saints are bold in speaking the Gospel to others
Pray that you might interpret tongues
Pray for wisdom and understanding for those you are praying for
Pray for all those in authority

Daily Prayer Guide for May 2024

1 NC:

Join in prayer and fasting today with

the North Carolina team, as they yearn to
align their hearts and will with God’s
regardless of the outcome of the Resolution
this legislative session. And pray that the
NC Senators would have the courage and
conviction to be true to their word by
supporting COS behind closed doors in
caucus as they have promised to do in
public.

2 SC and MA:

Pray for those who are

holding and attending a National Day of
Prayer event in Summerville, SC today;
pray for the National Day of Prayer event in
MA with COS leadership in attendance.

3 NJ:

Pray for wisdom specific to the

networking, outreach and weekly planning
meetings for our team's visit to the NJ
Capitol (aka surge day) on June 3.

4 SD:

Prayers for great success at the

Homeschooling Conference in Sioux Falls
and for the Wild West Meetings in Rapid
City over the first 10 days in May.

5 National:

Pray for the successful

completion of this year’s Emerging Leaders
Program and for the students God is
preparing for next year's group.

6 PA:

Pray that we would secure enough

support from PA Senators to pass our
application through the Senate. We're close,
but still need to overcome the
misinformation and political threats spread
by opponents.

7 CO:

Pray for our CO legislators on this

last day of the session, that the Lord would
turn their hearts towards COS and that a
new COS supporting champion would rise
to take the lead in the 2025 session.

8 MI:

Pray for the Michigan team as they

engage State Legislators and their staff at
the MI Surge Day, today.

9 National:

Pray for the new Servant

Leadership Workbook developed by our
organization currently being printed. Pray
that this resource will increase our ability to
develop servant hearted leaders across our
country to help restore principles of liberty
and self-governance.

10 MS:

Pray for newly assigned District

Captain Des Crain. Des is undergoing
treatment for throat cancer. Pray God
provides healing and faith for Des and his
whole family through the treatment, teaching
them to lean on Him and His loving wisdom
over creation.

11 CO:

Praise God for an awesome CO

testimony hearing on 4/22 and rally on 4/25.

12 OH:

As we wait for the new date to be

announced for the Ohio House Committee
hearing for opponent testimony, please pray
that opponents who deal in fear and
dishonesty would be put to shame, and that
committee members would not be swayed
by their arguments.

13:

Pray that God will raise up many more

great leaders for our grassroots across the
country and give us favor in winning over
the hearts and minds of legislators in the
work we all do and pray for humility, wisdom
and endurance for all our grassroots
activists and leaders as they persevere in
the face of the many challenges opposing
our mission.

14 SD:

Pray for very successful Educational

Meetings being held today in Sioux Falls
SD, and that the presenters will be
knowledgeable and clear speaking.

15 NC:

Pray for a victory and celebration

day - that the NC COS Resolution will have
passed and this day of our Rally will bring
glory to God as we praise Him for those in
authority!

16 MI:

Praise God for His abundant

faithfulness and pray that He will bring
people to the MI team to be strong
grassroots leaders.

17 National:

Pray for a smooth transition of

the Emerging Leaders Program staff as
Reagan and Faith Green complete their
time on staff with COS and Kristen Stanciu
and Jackson Allen move into roles directing
the program for 2024-2025. Pray for Kristen
and Jackson as they begin planning for the
year and interviewing applicants this
Summer.

18 SC:

Continue to pray for Sam and

Nadine McDonald, SC volunteers who have
both suffered major health issues this past
year.

19 OR:

Pray for OR Follow Up Team Leader

Helen Bryant who is battling some known
and unknown health issues. Pray for her
strength to be renewed and for her
miraculous healing. Thank the Lord for His
timing in sending us a wonderful
replacement for Helen's DC-1 position so
she can focus on her health needs.

20 TX:

Pray for our team the week of May

20th-25th during the GOP State Convention.
Over 1000 COS supporters will be in
attendance in San Antonio as delegates to
ensure that Convention of States stays on
the party platform and is selected as a party
priority. May God show us where we are
failing to be a light and an example. Pray
that all COS supporting delegates debate
kindly. May God’s will be done.

21 National:

Please pray for the growing

External Relations Team that they would feel
confident in their training, be servant leaders
in their roles serving our donors, that God
will guide all their conversations with those
who support the mission of COS, and that
they would maintain a spirit of gratitude in all
they do.

22:

Pray for healthy and kind hearted

communication between all our various
teams in Convention of States to continue to
be the norm. Pray that God strengthens us
in any area we can continue to grow.

23 National:

Pray for wisdom for our Legal

and Financial Department to lead the
organization well and for God's favor and
guidance to make important decisions
pursuing our mission.

24 ID:

Pray for the primary election in Idaho

on May 24th. Pray that pro-COS candidates
would be elected.

25:

As all our State Leadership teams

continue to set priorities and provide vision
for their teams, pray that we would have
wisdom to know the best use of our time in
pursuit of our mission.

26 National:

Pray for the Leaders

Launchpad state internship program as we
are expanding to new states this next year.
Pray for clarity and wisdom as we build state
plans - and for finding just the right people
to be part of the program this year.

27 National:

Please pray for our new

Grassroots Groundbreakers Podcast, that
our grassroots are inspired to listen to our
successful leaders to draw inspiration from
them to apply in their state. Also pray that
the right subject matter experts from the
Grassroots emerge and share testimonies
that spark clarity of direction for our
collective pursuit of the COS mission.

28 National:

Pray for our Communications

Department’s reactivation subscriber series
for our main email list. Please pray for those
subscribers who have not engaged with our
communications in the past 120 days, that
they may reconnect with COS and our
mission.

29 NC:

Pray for continued strength and

health for Jeff Groh, RC from NC, as he
battles cancer with chemo treatments; for
his immune system to be activated by God;
and for his body to accept the new T cells.
Pray for his wife to have peace and comfort
as she endures with him.

30 IA:

Please pray for growth in numbers

and commitment level for our Iowa team, so
that we can have a real chance of passage
in 2025.

31 NJ:

Pray for a happy and fruitful Surge

Day on June 3rd, with a special request for
safety for Mark Meckler and all who are
traveling to Trenton.
