The Power of Prayer

Luke 5:16

“So He Himself often withdrew into the wilderness and prayed.” (NKJV)

It was the very next day that Jesus met Matthew, one of his first disciples.

Luke 6:12

“Now it came to pass in those days that he went out to the mountain to pray, and continued all

night in prayer to God. And when it was day . . . . .” (NKJV)

This is the day He commissioned 12 of His disciples - whom he called Apostles - after an all-night

prayer vigil. Jesus knew He had to ‘replicate’

Himself in order for His work to continue. He went to

God first in prayer, then He chose the 12 and discipled them for about the next 3 years.

On the last grassroots leadership call, Jason Girard beckoned us to do just that - “replicate

yourselves”. We need others to help us in this journey. The task before us can only be accomplished

by taking it to God first. How we disciple the new ones coming in will determine our victory for

God’s glory.

Go to God first in prayer. He is your strength in the wilderness.

1 - North Carolina: Pray that Sen. Santorum’s

visit to NC today will foster truth,

understanding, unity, and that the fruit of his

visit results in changed hearts ready to bring

God glory by voting in favor of the COS

Resolution.

2 - Alaska: Please pray for our folks to attend

and be inspired by events happening March

2-5 and that they feel called to get involved.

3 -

Idaho: We have a gun show on March 4 & 5

in Nampa, and possibly others in Lewiston

(Mar 11 & 12) and Post Falls (Mar 25 & 26).

Please pray for good conversations, lots of

petition signatures and good publicity for COS

in general.

4 - Minnesota: Please pray for our team

member Kathy Caroline. She has su

ff

ered a

massive stroke and we do not know her

condition yet. She has been a long time active

volunteer in MN and we love her dearly.

5 - Iowa: Our resolution must pass in either the

House or Senate full chamber by March 31 to

remain active this year. Please pray for

successful votes this month.

6 - Delaware: we are expecting to have the

resolution introduced in both the house and

senate in March.

Please pray for a good

working relationship with our sponsors and

supporting legislators, that we can find some

friends from the other side of the aisle to have

the courage to stand with us and especially that

the leadership of both chambers will allow it to

have a hearing.

7 - Indiana: Please pray for the Indiana team to

have a successful rally on March 8th.

8 - Florida: Pray for stamina and focus as we

build strong legislative relationships, follow

through on CTAs for our state, assist pending

states seeking to pass their resolutions and

continue the mission.

9 - Idaho: Praise God for a very successful

Boise luncheon and Town Hall on Feb 2nd with

Mark Meckler and Rick Santorum. These have

put us in the best position we have seen in

years to get the resolution passed in Idaho.

Pray that we can capitalize on the momentum

and gain many more supporters in our state

legislature.

10 - Iowa: Pray for our in-person TelePatriot

training on March 11th.

Daily Prayer Guide for March 2023

11 - Ohio: Please pray for at least 5 members

of the Ohio House to have the courage and

wisdom to admit they made a consequential

mistake in placing personal power/rewards over

principle in their vote for Speaker of the

House. Pray that their consciences would be

stirred to ask for a re-vote so that they can

support a Speaker who will push forward

policies that honor the sanctity of life,

give

parents more control over their kids' education,

and impose reform on our broken federal

structure.

Florida: Please put out a special prayer for

Mary Frances Womack - a Prayer Warrior and

Activists and all around special wife and Mom.

She has to be o

her feet for several weeks and

then see about surgery.

13 - Maryland: Pray for a Committee hearing

in Maryland on March 14th.

14 - Pray for safe travels for all who attend the

NC Town Halls in Greenville, NC on March

14th and Wilmington, NC on March 15th with

Mark Meckler and Michael Farris. Pray also for

truth to abound and hearts to be open to it!

15 - Oklahoma: Please pray the Oklahoma

team succeeds in advancing non-COS

legislation through the House and Senate.

16 - Arizona: Please pray for a spark in our

Arizona COS supporters to join our team in

leadership roles.

17 - West Virginia: We want to praise God!

Our team has been praying for Pam, the wife

of Norm Launi, DC, while fighting cancer for

the last year.

She has received a report she is

cancer free!

Norm & Pam are grateful for the

prayers and the Lord's healing power!

18 - Pray for the planning of our Article V

Simulated Convention taking place this fall.

19 - Massachusetts: pray that the Holy Spirit

will flow throughout the Commonwealth and

guide the hearts of our citizens to make Prayer

and Fasting great again…

20 - Connecticut: Pray for legislative success

in Connecticut.

21 - California - Pray we are blessed with good

weather for our cornhole games at the capitol

for Lobby Day, March 22nd. Also pray that we

are able to plant fruitful seeds with our

legislators.

22 - Illinois: Pray for recruitment of a State

Communications Coordinator and Legislative

Liaison in Illinois.

23 - Tennessee: Pray for the District Captains

in Tennessee to see the fruit of their labors and

to be inspired by their labors.

24 - West Virginia: Pray for strength, courage,

persistence and creativity to continue the work

of reaching West Virginians and our legislators

with the truth of Article V and all purposes He

sends us with.

25 - Michigan: Praise God for the doors He

opened for us this month, and please pray that

God continues to raise up leaders in Michigan

and to give us favor with legislators on both

sides of the aisle.

26 - Texas: Please pray the Texas team has a

successful capitol surge event on March 27th.

27 - Iowa: Pray for our rally on March 28th.

28 - Please pray for righteous politicians to act

as statesmen, having discernment and

conviction to pass our resolution in those states

yet to pass. Pray that God safeguards those

states that have passed from rescission e

ff

orts.

29 - Praise God for the growth of our Servant

Leadership program and mentor team. Pray

that God continues to spread the culture of

Servant Leadership throughout COS and our

country.

30 - Please pray a prayer of praise for all of our

State Directors who are courageous volunteer

leaders willing to stand and lead our grassroots

teams.

31 - We encourage you today to find the name

of your local representative and pray for them

by name, that God would give them wisdom

and lead them to good governance of our great

nation.
