The Power of Prayer

Matthew 14:19

“. . . ..and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke and gave the loaves to

the disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitudes”.

John 6:11

“And Jesus took the loaves, and when he had given thanks He distributed them

to the disciples, and the disciples to those sitting down.”

Jesus knows his Father, and what God would do because He abides in Him. All

he says is ‘thank you’ and His prayer of thanks fed the multitudes.

Abiding in God is praying unceasingly and allows us to see miracles too. Give

thanks in all circumstances. Know your Father’s will so the fruit of your labor is

multiplied.

1 - Massachusetts:

Please pray for

discernment during our yearly state
strategy meeting on 6/3/23.

2 - Illinois:

Pray for wisdom for the team

on how to approach the 27 moderate
Democrat legislators in the Springfield,
General Assembly,

that we may find at

least one among them to become a co-
sponsor on our bill HJR 3.

3 - Colorado:

DC Deb Miller (HD60)

ended her fight with cancer a few
months ago and has now finished her
race victoriously. Please pray for Deb's
family, particularly her husband John,
that they take comfort in knowing she is
with Our Savior; pray for healing of this
wound in their family now, which only
God's comforting presence can heal.
May His Presence dwell richly with
them!

Seek out prayer requests from your

State Team and pray for them today.

5 - Oregon:

Pray for two leaders moving

into roles and being trained. Pray they
learn and excel in their roles.

6 - California:

Pray for God to send us

two commissioners to send to the
simulation.

7 - Michigan:

Praise God for all the

conversations we were able to have at
our May Surge Days! Pray God would
soften hearts, grow the seeds that were
planted, and open more doors. Also, pray
that He would raise up the leaders He
desires within our grassroots and anoint
them with wisdom and discernment.

8 - Colorado:

Continue to pray for RC

Mark Farmer and his wife Peggy as she
continues with cancer treatments. Pray
for complete healing and comfort and
peace for the family.

9 - North Carolina:

Pray that the Lord

help us to add two or three Senators to
our whip count and achieve passage of
the COS Resolution this year.

10-11 -

Pray for your district legislator.

12 - West Virginia:

Pray for State

Director Tracy Friend, who has had to
step away to attend to family matters;
please pray for additional Volunteers.

13 - Idaho:

Heather Vantress, SMW

requests prayer for her health as she is
doing a new protocol and does not want
to give up early. Pray for strength to
physically get up and for her body to
want to eat food. Pray for relief of pain
from inflammation.

14 - South Carolina:

Pray for a state

director.

15 -

Continued prayer for COS

supporters Michael and Richard, who are
both fighting stage 4 cancer. Pray for the
family and for good outcomes of healing.

16 - New York:

Pray for commissioners

to rise up and join the Article V Simulated
Convention.

17-18 -

Pray for your State Leadership

Team members by name, that God would
bless and grow their leadership.

19 -

Nevada:

Continued prayer for

recovery for Bill Harenburg's wife,
Yvonne. Pray for winter soldiers to join
the grassroots team; Assembly sponsors
for 2025; and for breakthrough with the
NV GOP.

20 - Virginia:

Pray for the team as they

go through an election cycle in an effort
to flip targeted primary districts that
promote pro COS candidates.

21 - Colorado:

Pray for favor for the

Team at all their events this month; favor
to grow the Team and influence the
legislature.

22 - Florida:

Pray for our 6/24 & 6/25

strategy meeting to exceed all
expectations in its effectiveness for
getting Florida beyond the barriers which
most plague us.

23 - National:

Pray for the successful

planning of the Article V Simulated
Convention to take place Aug. 2-4 in
Williamsburg. Pray for committed
legislators to have the courage to attend.

24-25 -

Pray a prayer of thanksgiving

and gratitude for what God is doing in
COS these days.

26 - West Virginia:

Please pray for

volunteers, as we ask for a fresh fire,
vision & energy for God’s will.

27 -

Pray Luke 10:2 “ The harvest is

plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the
Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send
out workers into His harvest”.

28 - North Carolina:

Continue to pray

for full recovery for Jeff after heart
surgery and Cliff’s wife Lynne from the
horse accident.

29 - Colorado:

Pray for accurate

diagnosis and recovery for Prayer
Warrior Susan Bechtold. Susan's health
has been poor. She's struggling with
exhaustion movement and walking is
very difficult. Doctors have been unable
to diagnose the problem.

30 - Vermont:

Pray for planning and

success for our first effort at an essay
contest and a Constitution Day event.
