The Power of Prayer

3 John 1:2

Beloved, in all things I am praying that you will be prospering, and that you will be
continually having good health just as your soul is prospering.

In this letter, John writes that he is praying that the physical health of Gaius equals the
health of his soul, which was robust! If our physical health equals that of our spiritual
health, some of us would be like Hercules, while others would be emaciated and
weak.

In Greek, the word

psuche

(soul) is the principle of individuality and the seat of

personal impressions. It is in contact with both the material and the spiritual element of
humanity - the “mediator” between body and spirit. It is the heart of the person.

We can pray for our fellow patriots’ “inner heart life” and whatever their journey will
prosper.

Daily Prayer Guide for July 2023

1 - MA:

Please pray that our message

be received with open minds and that
Americans will turn from reliance on
political affiliation and towards God,
move past politics and to uniting as
citizens from all viewpoints to confront
the looming tyranny and rein in an out of
control federal government.

NC:

Pray the NC Senate Speaker Phil

Berger will bring HJR 235 to a floor vote.

2 - HI:

Independence Day Parade 9am

to noon on the Fourth. Please pray that
we have good participation from our
team for this fun event.

VT:

Pray for the events at parades in

Montpelier and Colchester on the 3rd
and 4th, for good camaraderie within the
team and good reception by those they
talk with.

3 - FL:

COS booths at gun shows and

summer festivals throughout the state.

MO:

We are in the process of

onboarding several volunteers. Pray for
wisdom to vet applicants effectively and
convert them to active volunteers.

4 - CA:

Praise God for His presence in

California, as He continues to expose the
darkness.
Pray for a safe and inspirational
Independence Day.

5 - OK:

Pray for our team. Two of our

ladies are going through chemo and
radiation. Others who are suffering from
heart conditions and other maladies also
need prayer.

FL:

Pray for successful implementation

of new strategies from the June strategy
conference

6 - ID:

There are several events in the

planning process during our legislative
offseason: parades, a fair, town halls,
official meetings with legislators and Rick
Santorum and more. Pray for wisdom in
the use of resources and for volunteers
to support these events.

MI:

Praise God for his faithfulness to

raise up people and open doors here.
Please pray that God would continue to
bring more leaders to assist with the
grassroots and communications teams in
Michigan.

7 - SD:

Pray for a great turn out for our

informational meetings in July.

KS:

  Pray for success as we challenge

the supermajority requirement for
passing the resolution in Kansas.

8 - CO:

Pray for a successful event with

Patriot Academy July 8th, to motivate our
organizations to work more closely
together and grow both teams.

WV:

Please pray for West Virginia team

members and their families for health
and guidance, particularly SD Tracy
Friend.

9 - MA:

Pray for great participation, the

Holy Spirit’s presence during our monthly
COS meetings as we practice reading
our upcoming testimony, and that many
will be moved to join us at the state
house in Boston when a hearing is
scheduled.

10 - CA:

Pray that He equips our leaders

with the strength of champions as we
obey His will.

WA:

Pray that our message resonates in

the hearts of those who hold office, and
strengthen our resolve when they are not
receptive to the principles of freedom.

11 -  OR:

Pray for the two new leaders

as they train in their roles as SGC and
SCC.  We hope to complete training by
year’s end.

MO:

Pray for Regional Captain and FUT

Team Leader Carol Hurley as she
negotiates some health issues.

12 - IL:

We need wisdom on how to

guide the team and encourage them to
use their God-given talents and abilities.

13 - WY:

Please pray for the Wyoming

legislators, especially those who are
listening to John Birch Society’s false
talking points, that their eyes and ears
are opened so they can help us save our
nation.

WI:

DC Samuel Carrao’s father, Peter, a

veteran who served in Vietnam, has
been disabled since he injured his spine
in a civilian accident. Pray for Pete’s
comfort and for Sam, who is his
caretaker.

14 - TN:

Please pray for a successful

state strategy meeting July 15th for COS
Tennessee and traveling mercies for
everyone participating.

SC:

Pray for numerous health issues

around the state, particularly former
Legislative Liaison Sam McDonald and
Nadine, his wife and for Carol, the wife of
DC Wayne Middleton.

15 - CO:

Pray for Colorado to gain

active, engaged DCs so we can make
more of an impact on our legislature next
session.

TX:

Pray for our state leadership team as

we prepare for our state strategy session
in October.

16 - WV:

Pray for the West Virginia team

for strength and in all things according to
God in the name of Jesus.

17 - MS:

Pray for our team. We only

have SD & LL filled of all the state roles
available. Also our DC level has dropped
by 4 DCs in the past few months. Pray
folks will be convinced of their need to
step up at this pivotal time in our
country's future.

18 - IL:

Pray for wise words as we

approach legislators for appointments
and support.

RI:

Please pray for a strong attendance

of patriots looking to help spread the
word of self governance through COS at
our informational meeting July 18 in
Warwick.

19 - WY:

Pray for our many fairs and

informational meetings this summer, that
we can reach people at these events and
continue to build the grassroots army.

KS:

Pray for the Rob Carson speaking

event planned for today.

20 - OK:

We have team members who

are trying to care for elderly family
members suffering from age related
diseases, like dementia and poor health.
Pray for health, recovery and peace for
those who are struggling in our state.

21 - CO:

Pray for our team to function

efficiently together to obtain our goals.

KY:

Pray that God will heal Regional

Captain Brett Green’s leg.

22 - OR:

Pray for those in our state who

are drug addicted, that God will reach
them and show them a better path.

23 - WV:

Our team needs an SIA; pray

that someone will step up to take the
position.

VA:

Pray for Virginia's 2023 state-wide

elections for the House (all 100 seats)
and Senate (all 40 seats) and for team
engagement up in support of legislators
who do support COS.

24 - CO:

Strength for RC Mark Farmer

and healing for his wife, Peggy, from her
cancer. Thanks for the medical
intervention which continues to sustain
her earthly life.

TX:

Pray for God to call 150 prayer

warriors from across the state to lead the
work of prayer in their own district and
ask their  legislator for prayer requests
as stronger relationships are built.

25 - WY:

Please pray for the whole

Wyoming team. God knows what each of
us needs to continue His work. Please
help us all recognize His will.

MO:

Pray that we have enough

volunteers and a successful event at the
Ozark Empire Fair in Springfield from
7/27 to 8/5.

26 - IL:

Pray for safety on the roads of IL

for our upcoming 45 events.

WI:

Pray for SD Art Binhack’s brother-in-

law, Kevin, who has suffered with throat
cancer the last 8 years. He does not
have much energy and is slowing down
considerably.

27 - IN:

We need steadfastness within

our volunteers to endure the trials prior to
the convention being held.Please pray
for us.

KY:

Pray for a new State Director and for

strength and encouragement for Mary Jo
Wedding, as she steps into the
Legislative Liaison role.

28 - CA:

Pray that His work here raises

up new warriors after His heart, ready
and willing to stand up, show up and lead
in our efforts.

IA:

Pray for new members for our

volunteer team as we prepare for the
state fair, which begins August 10th.

29 - FL, SD, CO, KS, IN

have asked for

prayer as they recruit committed
volunteers for events and leadership.

MI:

Please pray that God would provide

the physical, spiritual, and emotional
healing to the Michigan volunteers and
their families that need it.

30 - WA:

Pray for wisdom to share the

COS message the way it would be best
received and prepare the hearts of those
who hear us.

CO:

God's direction in setting our goals

and priorities for the coming legislative
session.

31 - MS:

Pray for the campaign

effectiveness of true conservatives in the
lead-up to our primary on August 8,
2023, particularly in the gubernatorial
race.

VT:

Pray for the planning and execution

of our essay contest, culminating with
our Constitution Day celebration.
