The Power of Prayer

The apostle Paul assures us,

“For everything that was written in the past was written to

teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we
might have hope”

Romans 15:4

In Joshua 6:2, God tells His people that he has given them Jericho. He goes on to tell
them exactly what to do, to march around the city for six days and on the seventh day,
shout and play their trumpets! What do they do? They are obedient and respond to
Him as he said.

Prayer is communicating with God. Even when it may seem like foolish obedience, if
He has told you to take an action and you know it is from Him, respond obediently. This
is how we see His promises come to fruition, and how we see our prayers answered.

Daily Prayer Guide for August 2023

1 -  MN -

Please pray for our

effectiveness in organizing and holding
legislative updates in MN to inform the
public about the destructive policies and
laws implemented in the 2023 legislative
session.

FL -

Pray for God to guide our

commissioners during the simulation,
that they give their all and that it proves
to be enough to support a successful
simulation.

2 - NV -

The team is small and therefore

carries heavy loads. We need a reprieve
for the current team members… Strength
to keep on pushing through.

WY -

Please pray for our commissioners

to the Article V convention simulation,
Senator Laursen, Senator Biteman and
Representative Singh.  Specifically ask
God to inspire them and fill them with
wisdom so they can effectively
communicate to the skeptics that this is
a robust process.

3 - MT:

Pray for peace, comfort and

guidance for those of our patriots team
who are encountering intense health and
life issues.

OR:

The Lord's covering over all the

elements of the Simulation Convention.

4 - OK:

Even though we are a very red

state, we have a majority of spineless
legislators who are particularly weak
during election years, as 2024 is.

5 - TX:

Pray for our recruiting work for

Texas 150, which is a prayer warrior for
each HD in Texas.

6 - IL:

Pray that we can fully staff all of

the multi-day events going on.

7 - OH:

Please pray for a successful

YES vote at the Ohio Special Election on
Aug 8th regarding “Issue 1” to raise the
voter-initiated ballot threshold for Ohio
constitutional amendments from 50% to
60%.

8 - MD:

Pray for Team Maryland who is

in need of inspiration and vision to build
upon our successes and to reach hearts
and minds across the state.

FL:

Pray that we may prepare well for

successful engagements with our
legislators as committee meetings begin
in September.

9 - CO:

Pray for our Adams County Fair

and Colorado State Fair in August, safe
travels for all who are volunteering and
that we obtain many new petition signers
and new active volunteers.

10 - WY:

Please pray that the eyes and

ears of the people stopping by our
booths at the six fairs we participate in
this month are open to the truth and
wisdom of our founders and that they
can understand the urgency with which
we have to address the needs of our
country.

11 - NV:

Pray for an influx of needed

winter soldiers who are willing to stand
up for freedom and understand it will
take some sacrifice, especially as
Regional Captains and District Captains.

12 - FL:

Pray that our TelePatriot team

strengthens in numbers and performance
in support of pending states as well as
our Florida efforts.

13 - OK:

Pray the Lord touches the

hearts of our state legislators to stand up
for our kids and parents.

IL:

Pray for Patriots who are meant to

support CoS will identify themselves.

14 - NJ:

Prayer request for NJ CE

Regional team of volunteers: That God
would lead us in discovering and
engaging new DCs for those districts that
desperately need them.

15 - MI:

Please pray God would bring

restoration in the lives of all the COS
Michigan volunteers that need it and
invigorate each volunteer to press on in
the path He has called them to.

16 - OR:

Pray for health and renewed

strength among our Volunteer Team.

17 - CO:

Pray for COS-supporting

candidates to register with our Secretary
of State as we start to focus on 2024
elections

18 - FL:

Pray that our commissioners to

the simulation will win over any in our
current legislature who are not currently
supporters.

19 - MD:

Team Maryland does have

several team members in need of our
prayers for their health, especially former
State Director Mike Rilee, James
McQueen and Paul Macri in particular.

20 - NJ:

Pray that He would bless us in

our plans and efforts to exceed our state
goals for 2024.

OK:

Pray for us as we work to replace

volunteers throughout the state walking
away from COS.

21 - SD:

With the 5 fairs in August and

into September, pray that many new
people will be reached and petitions
signed.

22 - NV:

Pray for change in the NV GOP,

which is actively working against us.

23 - TX:

State Team preparation for state

strategy meeting in October.

24 - VA:

Pray for state leaders who are

battling significant health issues
themselves, and for those leaders who
care for family members who are
suffering.

25 - MN:

Pray that we can awaken the

people of MN to fight back and get
involved in our 2024 election. Without a
good result in 2024, we will have a very
difficult time passing COS resolution.

26 - CO:

Pray for leaders Peggy Farmer,

restoration following cancer treatment
and Allen Aubert, quick recovery
following cardiac procedure.

OK:

Pray for a few of our members who

are fighting bravely against cancer.

27 - SD:

Pray that our COS Volunteers

will not grow weary and will stay inspired
as they look forward to passage.

28 - MI:

Please pray that God would

unify the COS Michigan team and give
them wisdom and insight into the
strategies He desires them to employ.
Pray that God will be glorified in
Michigan.

29 - FL:

  Pray that we may prepare well

for successful engagements with our
legislators as committee meetings begin
in September.

30 - OR:

Pray for inspiration and focus

as we plan the 2024 State Strategy.

31 - TX:

Prayer for our efforts to get

Governor Abbot to support and add our
removal of the expiration of our Texas
resolution to an expected upcoming
October Special Session.
