The Power of Prayer

Luke 9:18-19

“

And it happened, as He was alone praying, that His disciples joined Him, and

He asked them, saying, ‘Who do the crowds say that I am?’ So they answered

and said, ‘John the Baptist, but some say Elijah; and others say that one of the

old prophets has risen again.’ He said to them, ‘But who do you say that I am?'

Peter answered and said, ‘The Christ of God.'”

People spread fake news even in the days of Jesus. They spoke lies if they

didn't know the truth or could not accept it.

When we pray God’s will, we are one with God. We know him as a young child

knows her daddy and runs to him to offer her love after he has been away. Our

heavenly Father wants us to come to him in the same way and he hears us

when we do.

Matthew 11:27

“All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son

except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son,

and the

one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.”

If He has been revealed to you, run to Him in prayer. He has truth and life

abundant

for those who know Him

. So many don’t know Him. Pray for those

who don’t.

1 - Pennsylvania:

Pray for Jared Bill,

SD, as his father, Darrin ‘Bear’ Bill went
home to the Lord on March 17th.

2 - Idaho:

Pray for team member Ron

Walter and his friend who recently
suffered a terrible tragedy in service to
others.

3 -

Florida:

Pray

for the participants to

have an effective

Rally tomorrow.

4 - New Mexico:

Please pray for New

Mexico as they begin recruitment for new
District Captains. Pray for bold patriots to
come into our midst.

5 - Texas:

Please pray for our Legislative

Prayer Team. We have been hit with a
rash of illness amongst our team
members. Paul Dunfee is scheduled for
heart surgery and Micah Hall is
recovering after being hospitalized for
several days. Also continue to remember
Sammi Hammers as she is now in
hospice care.

6 - California:

Give thanks for a

successful Lobby Day and for the
legislators who are seeking follow up
meetings. Continue to pray for the Lord
to open their hearts even more than He
already has.

7 -

Good Friday, pray for a heart of

repentance and remembrance for our
country.

8 - Massachusetts:

Please pray that the

Holy Spirit will indwell the hearts of the
American citizens and guide them to a
season of prayer and fasting leading the
Nation to Absolute Surrender to the will
of the Almighty. Chronicles 7:14

9 -

Easter, praise God for all the hope He

has provided us in the resurrection of His
Son.

10 - Louisiana:

Please pray for us as we

hold our Rally tomorrow. Pray for
meaningful encounters with legislators.

11 - Nevada:

We need winter soldiers in

our grassroots. Prayers that the team will
grow with committed volunteers.

12 -

Vermont:

Thank God for the

dedication of our leaders and pray we
can develop a synchronized work to
continue the outreach to elected and
unelected citizens alike.

13 - Texas:

April will also be a focal

month for praying for our volunteers and
legislators in our efforts to remove the
sunset clause from our passed
resolution. As our session ends in May,
April will be a very busy time.

14 -

Virginia:

Pray for a seamless

transition of teamwork as Virginia
continues the redistricting process
through December.

15 - Illinois:

Pray for wisdom in finding a

venue for the southern IL DC new
Orientation and Refresh session for
either May 20th or May 27th.

16 - Massachusetts:

Prayers needed for

in person meeting with Chairman of the
Joint Committee on Veterans and
Federal Affairs Senator Velis on April 17,
that the LORD guides our thoughts and
conversations and we are able to find a
way to gain his support as a co-sponsor,

becoming our first Democrat co-sponsor
in MA.

Prayers for our national Emerging

Leaders Program to finish strong for our
internships this program year. Pray that
God will reveal to us how we can best
impact these young men and women in
the next six weeks. Pray that we will
prepare them well to be strong leaders
and statesmen and women!

18 -

North Carolina:

Pray for all those

traveling across the state to the Rally in
Raleigh on April 19th. Pray for the
legislators’ hearts to be warmed by the
COS Patriots’ call to duty to pass the
resolution in the Senate. Pray for the
largest turnout ever to bring God glory!

19 - Michigan:

Please pray that God

would lead the COS Michigan team,
what we plan, and how we implement
strategies. Pray that God will continue to
strengthen the unity of the team, and
prepare the hearts of the Michigan
Legislators to receive us in May.

20 - Minnesota

legislators need all the

prayers you can round up as evil is in
overdrive in Minnesota. Our conservative
legislators are working very hard, but
they can’t fight the majority left that is
intent on destroying our beautiful state,
our children, and our freedoms!

21 - Idaho:

Because of our very short

legislative sessions (generally only four
or five months), the Idaho team is
developing a new strategy for getting the
resolution passed in the 2024 session.
Pray for a winning strategy.

22 - Oregon:

Please pray for Oregon as

they begin recruitment for new District
Captains. Pray for bold patriots to come
into our midst.

23 - Pennsylvania:

Pray for the Rally

attendees on April 25th. Pray for peace
in the area and that they will discern
what to discuss with legislators. Pray that
kindness abounds and that no harm
comes against them. Pray for passage of
the COS Resolution SR77 in the Senate.

24 - Illinois:

Traveling mercies for our

Capitol surge day on Tuesday, April 25th
in Springfield, IL and a softening of heart
on the COS resolution HJR-3 for all 177
IL legislators.

25 - Nevada:

Please pray for Nevada’s

surge that is happening April 26th. Pray
for the team to have courage and
conviction as they go to the capitol
offices. Please pray for good attendance
and clear weather. Ask for travel mercies
for Sen. Santorum and all staff attending.

26 - Arizona:

Please pray for the team

as the Rally takes place tomorrow. Pray
that the crowd is large and peaceful and
that the legislators understand the hearts
of the constituents and choose to govern
in a Godly manner.

27 -

Prayer needed for the ‘How Many

More Rally’ taking place in Austin on April
29th.That it is peaceful and that Texas
officials take these steps to protect
Texans: 1) Declare an invasion of our
southern border; 2) Define Mexican
cartels as terror organizations; 3) Seize
Texas-based cartel bank accounts and
assets; 4) Establish a Texas Border
Defense Unit to defend Texans from the
cartels.

28 - For all the states:

that they

maintain their Godly and constitutional
path during these times of tyranny.

29 -

As the enemy comes to kill, steal

and destroy, pray that we will all be
BOLD and persevere in taking authority,
the authority that we have in Christ, to
overcome every obstacle to save
America.

30 - Maryland:

Strength and healing for

volunteer Michael Rilee. Gratitude for the
supporters and activists across the state.
May our words and efforts soften the
hearts of our leaders.
