This update is provided to keep you posted on organizational changes and updates. We are issuing this weekly report each Monday that the National Team meets! Information shared can be shared with your teams! Hope you enjoy it. Be sure to read to the end, lots of goodies throughout!!  Start Your Engines! This inspirational and educational event will be held September 18-20, 2025, in Indianapolis, Indiana. You Don't want to miss it!!   ==== Happy Anniversary to our Passed States Alabama May 22, 2015 Louisiana May 25, 2016 Texas May 4, 2017 Missouri May 12, 2017 ==== ==== Notes from Mark Meckler and Rick Santorum ==== Rick Santorum is back from Rome after covering the Papal Conclave in Rome for Newsmax. He said it was a wonderful and historic time to be there to witness the election of the 266th Pope. He felt the selection was a unifying choice and would be good for the church as a whole. Mark Meckler was in Washington DC last week with the Interns graduation from the Emerging Leaders Program. What a wonderful event and such great leaders we have coming out of the program. He had nothing but praise for the work done by Kristen Stanciu in her leadership of this program. We look forward to great things for these Interns as they strike out on their career paths!  ==== Legislative Activity ==== What a week we have had at COS - my favorite quote of the week from Texas Rep Cody Vasut - “The sun never sets on liberty” This is so true! As long as we continue our work, we will prevail! Last week was a momentous time for Texas and North Carolina! The Texas team effectively removed the Sunset Clause and assured the sustainability of their resolution for the future. Our hats and hearts go out to them for this success!! Erika Hatfield offered these thanks to the teams all over the country who helped them get over the finish line! Read all about it here!  Here is a screenshot of the thank you that Erika Hatfield, Texas State Director sent out to all the states for their assistance in getting Texas over the finish line!  North Carolina also got the COS resolution and 34 Ready legislation through two committees and one chamber of the house this past week. Springtime miracles are in the air! Our hats off to those great tarheel's in getting their resolution moving! Let's keep those prayers going up that we will have a new state to add to our roster very soon!! District Captain and Volunteer activity is an area we really need to focus on. Those activity reports are available to communicate to our donors all the great work each of you are doing out there in the trenches! It only takes a second to file an activity report on your phone or computer. And for those District Captains reading this, we need to strive for 100% activity in Citizen Builder! We have over 2.7 million petitions. We have 32,800+ volunteers. We are moving away from the ‘5+ million supporters’ number. Let's all make sure we are using this information as cited!  If you are having difficulty getting your teams on Zulip, we now have several people we can call on to make that happen. If you need help, reach out to your RD and they can hook you up with assistance! We now have dedicated Grassroots leaders who understand the system available to help get you and your team ready to go. Let's get our teammates on so we can make it the great communication tool it can be. We would like to see a more robust participation with this new format. This is almost exactly the population of Miami-Dade County today! ==== Weekly Total: 2,497. This is an average of 312 signatures per day (38% ABOVE the weekly total average - this is the best performing week we have had in 2025!)
