Looking forward to seeing everyone there! You Don't want to miss it!! ![]() ![]() No anniversaries in June. Notes from Mark Meckler and Rick Santorum Mark was traveling again, but Rick Santorum shared this with us. Remember, the way we influence legislators is to get to know them and allow them to know us - they need to understand who we are and why we support what we support. Remember that in your discussions. Rick spoke at a Newsmax event recently and one of the things he pointed out is the only thing worse than losing is is NOT TRYING! We have to keep up our energy and the effort to move this country to the place it should be, fiscally sound, driven by State's Rights, and represented by those committed to the success of this country not a paycheck for the rest of their lives! If you lose, then lose because you are fighting for what is right not popular. The Youth of America are seeking the truth - we need to give it to them! We are fighting for the right things for our country - if you missed Mark Levin's broadcast Saturday night, you need to watch - he did an excellent job of spelling out how COS can help us get there. We need to have the courage to do the right thing with the why ready to be communicated from our lips! We need to take control of the messaging, the Democrats have won at this for the past 50 years but that is changing. They did it thru support of the media. People are looking for the truth, not the media's perception of truth. WE need to take control of the narrative in the venues we have available to us (Social Media, group settings, etc). and counter the negative openly and unafraid! The truth is to fix our country, we need an Article V Convention where we can control our government. According to Rick, Musk was wrong in attacking Trump, but right with the message that no government, even a Republican controlled one, will stop the growth of government or stop the deficit spending. We have the answer and WE need to take advantage of it!! Be brave and standup for the TRUTH! If you missed BattleCry last night, catch it now! Legislative Activity As we move to a new season - District Season, we refocus closer to home than while in the Capitol Season. It is time for us to get our teams fired up about connecting with their legislatures on our home turf. We need to also focus on building our teams to be the best we can be as we strive to fulfill the mission of Growing the Largest Grassroots Army! If you missed this in the last update on COS NOW be sure to check this out - great work and hats off to all of you! Catch it here. KUDOS to the Top Most Active DC teams by % in the Passed States - Indiana, Alaska, and Oklahoma!! Great Job teams!! District Captain and Volunteer activity is an area we really need to focus on. Those activity reports are available to communicate to our donors all the great work each of you are doing out there in the trenches! It only takes a second to file an activity report on your phone or computer. And for those District Captains reading this, we need to strive for 100% activity in Citizen Builder! Social Media Program Let's all help with the new Social Media Program! We are all Media Warriors at heart! Get more information here Are you on Facebook or X? Do the simple, daily activities (M-F) PS - it takes less than 3 minutes and so effective! http://www.conventionofstates.com/social As with all new things, a few rules follow - remember: Do NOT tag or message legislators; Do NOT ask others to contact legislators or sign the petition; and Do NOT post on legislator's posts or pages If you are trying to decide if you want to participate in this effort, remember Rick Santorum's words above!! Feel free to use your .us email address now! You can now start using your COS email address with the .us ending. Everything else remains the same except for the .us instead of .com! This does not require any action on your part. Your old .com address will forward to the new address. If you purchase business cards or any other material with your email address on it, please use the new cosaction.us. Spoiler Alert - you will still need to sign into Citizen Builder with whatever email address you have used in the past! If you are having difficulty getting your teams on Zulip. If you need help, reach out to your RD and they can hook you up with assistance! We have dedicated Grassroots leaders who understand the system available to help get you and your team ready to go. Let's get our teammates on so we can make it the great communication tool it can be. We would like to see a more robust participation with this new format. Using the Zulip App is much easier than trying to work in a browser. Help your teams use the platform in the most effective way, have them download the app here: Zulip App. Don't miss your registration for the COS Leaders Organization in Zulip - it takes the place of the DC workspace in Slack and several others!
