This update is provided to keep you posted on organizational changes and updates. We are issuing this weekly report each Monday that the National Team meets! Information shared can be shared with your teams! Hope you enjoy it. Be sure to read to the end, lots of goodies throughout!! ![]() Start Your Engines! If you haven’t heard, registration for the Race to Freedom National Grassroots Leadership Summit is now open!! This inspirational and educational event will be held September 18-20, 2025, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Don’t miss this chance to hear from COS headliners like Mark Meckler, Rick Santorum, and Michael Farris, along with other special guests who will be announced soon! Notes from Mark Meckler and Rick Santorum ==== Our leaders were both out of pocket today so there is no report to report! If you missed BattleCry last night, catch it now! ==== Legislative Activity ==== As we move to a new season - District Season, we refocus closer to home than while in the Capitol Season. It is time for us to get our teams fired up about connecting with their legislatures on our home turf. We need to also focus on building our teams to be the best we can be as we strive to fulfill the mission of Growing the Largest Grassroots Army! KUDOS to the Top Most Active DC teams by % in the Passed States - Alaska, Arizona, and Oklahoma!! Great Job teams!! District Captain and Volunteer activity is an area we really need to focus on. Those activity reports are available to communicate to our donors all the great work each of you are doing out there in the trenches! It only takes a second to file an activity report on your phone or computer. And for those District Captains reading this, we need to strive for 100% activity in Citizen Builder! ==== Let's all help with the new Social Media Program! ==== We are all Media Warriors at heart! Do the simple, daily activities (M-F) PS - it takes less than 3 minutes and so effective! http://www.conventionofstates.com/social As with all new things, a few rules follow - remember: Do NOT tag or message legislators; Do NOT ask others to contact legislators or sign the petition; and Do NOT post on legislator's posts or pages Feel free to use your .us email address now! You can now start using your COS email address with the .us ending. Everything else remains the same same except for the .us instead of .com! This does not require any action on your part. Your old .com address will forward to the new address, if you purchase business cards or any other material with your email address on it, please use the new cosaction.us. Spoiler Alert - you will still need to sign into Citizen Builder with whatever email address you have used in the past! If you are having difficulty getting your teams on Zulip, we now have several people we can call on to make that happen. If you need help, reach out to your RD and they can hook you up with assistance! We now have dedicated Grassroots leaders who understand the system available to help get you and your team ready to go. Let's get our teammates on so we can make it the great communication tool it can be. We would like to see a more robust participation with this new format. That’s 400,000 more people than the population of Houston! Weekly Total: 2,220 Top States: 1. FL 2. NC 3. TX Top Dates: 1. 5/20 2. 5/21 3. 5/19 Way to go Florida and Texas #1 and #3 respectively!
