This update is provided to keep you posted on organizational changes and updates. We are issuing this weekly report each Monday that the National Team meets! Information shared can be shared with your teams! Hope you enjoy it. Be sure to read to the end, lots of goodies throughout!!   Start Your Engines! Registration for the Race to Freedom Leadership Summit is open and waiting for you! This inspirational and educational event will be held September 18-20, 2025, in Indianapolis, Indiana. COS Anniversaries No State Anniversaries July 4th, 1776 (Independence Day)  Mark Meckler's Comments  “I believe that Article V is the centerpiece of how we save the nation. I've dedicated 12 years of my life now to doing this because I believe that we need to do this to fix what ails the country. I don't think it's the silver bullet. I think there are other things that have to be done. I think this mission is very important. That's why I'm in. And there's a culture here that I think is different. And certainly I'll say it's different than anywhere else that I've ever worked or ever been a part of. And it is a culture based on servant leadership. And so what does that really mean? If you haven't taken our Servant Leadership course, I highly recommend that you do. We don't make it mandatory, but I would say if you don't take the 'Servant Leadership', you probably don't understand the culture of Convention of States as well as you might otherwise understand it. What does that mean? It means that in order to be a great leader, you start by serving other people. And of course, the Servant Leadership course has all kinds of tools that teach you how to do it: how to be a better servant and how that leads to being a better leader. I just think it's the best synthesis I've ever seen of all business concepts. The Bible teaches us how to be a servant leader. Now that being said, I also want to be really focused into the fact that you don't have to be a Christian to benefit from the Servant Leadership book. And when I first started studying this stuff, I was not a Christian and I still felt welcome inside of all these concepts because when you look at the Bible, you've got a book that is millennial old and it has wisdom in it. Servant leadership creates a very healthy working environment and highly performing teams. If you are interested, please register here”.   Legislative Activity As we move into District Season, we refocus closer to home than while in the Capitol (Legislative) Season. It is time for us to get our teams fired up about connecting with their legislators on our home turf. We need to also focus on building our teams to be the best we can be as we strive to fulfill the mission of Growing the Largest Grassroots Army! District Captain Activity KUDOS to the Top Most Active DC teams by % in the Passed States - South Carolina, Arkansas, Indiana and Oklahoma. Great Job teams!! District Captain and Volunteer activity is an area we really need to focus on. Those activity reports are available to communicate to our donors all the great work each of you are doing out there in the trenches! It only takes a second to file an activity report on your phone or computer. And for those District Captains reading this, we need to strive for 100% activity in Citizen Builder!  Fun Fact for the Week The U.S. Constitution has 4,543 words. It has been on display in the Rotunda of the National Archives Building in Washington, D.C., since 1952. It was removed in 2001 for analysis, conservation and re-encasement, and returned for display in 2003. All four pages are on view behind airtight glass cases filled with argon gas to protect the aging document.  Social Media Program Let's all help with the new Social Media Program! We are all Media Warriors at heart! Are you on Facebook or X? Do the simple, daily activities (M-F). PS - it takes less than 3 minutes and so effective! http:%%//%%www.conventionofstates.com/social As with all new things, a few rules follow - remember: Do NOT tag or message legislators; Do NOT ask others to contact legislators or sign the petition; and Do NOT post on legislator's posts or pages We are getting lots of good feedback from this program, the more who participate, the greater the impact! Let's all get involved!! We have even picked up several very active sites that are following us now and posting about COS. Per Mark Meckler - please tell as many people as possible to participate in the Social Media effort to help us combat negative comments there!  Feel free to use your .us email address now! You can now start using your COS email address with the .us ending. Everything else remains the same except for the .us instead of .com! This does not require any action on your part. Your old .com address will forward to the new address. If you purchase business cards or any other material with your email address on it, please use the new cosaction.us. Spoiler Alert - you will still need to sign into Citizen Builder with whatever email address you have used in the past!  Zulip News Are you having difficulty getting your teams on Zulip. If you need help, reach out to your RD and they can hook you up with assistance! We have dedicated Grassroots leaders who understand the system available to help get you and your team ready to go. Let's get our teammates on so we can make it the great communication tool it can be. We would like to see a more robust participation with this new format. Using the Zulip App is much easier than trying to work in a browser. Looking forward to seeing you all on there!  Petition Roundup As of Friday the 25th, 2,729,259 people have signed the Convention of States petition so far. It would take each of our petition signers paying about $13,611,000 to pay off the national debt! Weekly Total: 1722. This is an average of 246 signatures per day (24.7% below the weekly total average) Top States: 1. NJ (7.8%) 2. FL (6.7%) 3. OH (6.3%) Top Dates: 1. 7/17 (15.3%) 2. 7/16 (14.9%) 3. 7/20 (14.6%) Way to go Florida! Way to keep the Passed States in the Action!  Artificial Information (AI) and YOU!
