This update is provided to keep you posted on organizational changes and updates. We are issuing this weekly report each Monday that the National Team meets! Information shared can be shared with your teams! Hope you enjoy it. Be sure to read to the end, lots of goodies throughout!!   Start Your Engines! Registration for the Race to Freedom Leadership Summit is open and waiting for you! This inspirational and educational event will be held September 18-20, 2025, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Dr. Kevin Roberts, President of the Heritage Foundation, Dr. Thomas Lindsay, Higher Education Policy Director for the Texas Public Policy Foundation, and Kimberly Fletcher, Moms for America, CEO, Ryan Walters, OK State Superintendent, and Rick Green, America's Constitution Coach will be speaking on the main stage in Indy in September! COS Anniversaries No State Anniversaries July 4th, 1776 (Independence Day)  Notes from Mark Meckler and Rick Santorum Rick was not able to attend the Monday national call due to a Newsmax conflict. Mark's comments: To be successful with COS, you must buy into Servant Leadership - it is at the core of all we do. Our aspirational goal of the largest active grassroots army is our driving force. We must pay attention to the news to effectively communicate with legislators and grassroots about current issues. Some of Mark's favorites are: Ben Shapiro - can get 90 minutes of news in 60 minutes. Andrew Klavan - a novelist who presents from a different perspective. Matt Walsh News on X Read your scriptures for their applications in daily life. Be careful what you pay attention to, all news is not as presented. Don't fall in with the conspiracy groups. Be aware of hyberbole - Russiagate while crimes were committed, they do not fit the definition of treason. Stay informed, Pay attention!!!   Legislative Activity As we move into District Season, we refocus closer to home than while in the Capitol (Legislative) Season. It is time for us to get our teams fired up about connecting with their legislators on our home turf. We need to also focus on building our teams to be the best we can be as we strive to fulfill the mission of Growing the Largest Grassroots Army! District Captain Activity KUDOS to the Top Most Active DC teams by % in the Passed States - Alaska and Oklahoma!! Great Job teams!! District Captain and Volunteer activity is an area we really need to focus on. Those activity reports are available to communicate to our donors all the great work each of you are doing out there in the trenches! It only takes a second to file an activity report on your phone or computer. And for those District Captains reading this, we need to strive for 100% activity in Citizen Builder!  Fun Fact for the Week Identical twins don’t have the same “fingerprints”! You can’t blame your crimes on your twin, after all. This is because environmental factors during development in the womb (umbilical cord length, position in the womb, and the rate of finger growth) impact your fingerprint.  Social Media Program Let's all help with the new Social Media Program! We are all Media Warriors at heart! Are you on Facebook or X? Do the simple, daily activities (M-F). PS - it takes less than 3 minutes and so effective! http:%%//%%www.conventionofstates.com/social As with all new things, a few rules follow - remember: Do NOT tag or message legislators; Do NOT ask others to contact legislators or sign the petition; and Do NOT post on legislator's posts or pages We are getting lots of good feedback from this program, the more who participate, the greater the impact! Let's all get involved!! We have even picked up several very active sites that are following us now and posting about COS. Per Mark Meckler - please tell as many people as possible to participate in the Social Media effort to help us combat negative comments there!  Feel free to use your .us email address now! You can now start using your COS email address with the .us ending. Everything else remains the same except for the .us instead of .com! This does not require any action on your part. Your old .com address will forward to the new address. If you purchase business cards or any other material with your email address on it, please use the new cosaction.us. Spoiler Alert - you will still need to sign into Citizen Builder with whatever email address you have used in the past!  Zulip News Are you having difficulty getting your teams on Zulip. If you need help, reach out to your RD and they can hook you up with assistance! We have dedicated Grassroots leaders who understand the system available to help get you and your team ready to go. Let's get our teammates on so we can make it the great communication tool it can be. We would like to see a more robust participation with this new format. Using the Zulip App is much easier than trying to work in a browser. Help your teams use the platform in the most effective way, have them download the app here: Zulip App. Don't miss your registration for the COS Leaders Organization in Zulip - it takes the place of the DC workspace in Slack and several others! Looking forward to seeing you all on there!  Petition Roundup As of Monday the 14th, 2,726,257 people have signed the Convention of States petition so far. That’s enough to fill 13,000 normal-sized bathtubs with jelly beans! (Ronald Reagan would approve!) Weekly Total: 2098. This is an average of 333 signatures per day (13.5% below the weekly total average) Top States: 1. TX (6.2%) 2. FL (5.7%) 3. OH (5.4%) Top Dates: 1. 7/9 (18.9%) 2. 7/7 (18.8%) 3. 7/13 (13.4%) Way to go Texas and Florida #1 and #2 respectively! Way to keep the Passed States in the Action!
