Mark commented on accepting the responsibility of our decisions. - Pointed out that when we make a decision knowing that it might anger others, you must be willing to clarify your personal postition, not apologizing just clarification. - When you stand for the truth, you must be willing to live with the anger it incurs. Be true to yourself and know you have been honest. One issue addressed that is near to our hears is the buzz around COS and Elon Musk's desire to create a third party. - DeSantis supports a convention for balanced budget and term limits. - Mark Levin stated how badly we need a convention of the states amending convention. - Shapiro supports a convention of the states article V amending convention. - Cal Thomas supports a convention of the states as well. It has gone completely viral; a third party is not needed: - We know that they only dilute the parties and split votes that are essential to success. - Discussed the impact of the Tea Party movment which was in fact a huge success - many good people were elected but then did not make the changes needed. Also discussed is the great impact we have in the current favorable administration. through Jackson Allen. - A young man who started as an intern with COS. - Treated with respect in the cabinet, not as a young intern, but as a seasoned aide. - Able to navigate the presentation of information in that venue. - His dream is to have an Article V office created that he would lead. God has placed him here for just this moment and just this time. Musk and Trump, although throwing jabs at each other, could like our forefathers before them; create a great, healthy nation. ![]() Legislative Activity As we move into District Season, we refocus closer to home than while in the Capitol Season. Fun Fact for the Week Ironically, the fear of long words is called Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia. Can anyone say WOW? The 36-letter word was first used in the first century BCE to criticize writers with an unreasonable penchant for long words. Social Media Program Let's all help with the new Social Media Program! We are all Media Warriors at heart! Are you on Facebook or X? Do the simple, daily activities (M-F). PS - it takes less than 3 minutes and so effective! http:%%//%%www.conventionofstates.com/social As with all new things, a few rules follow - remember: Do NOT tag or message legislators; Do NOT ask others to contact legislators or sign the petition; and Do NOT post on legislator's posts or pages We are getting lots of good feedback from this program, the more who participate, the greater the impact! Let's all get involved!! We have even picked up several very active sites that are following us now and posting about COS. Per Mark Meckler - please tell as many people as possible to participate in the Social Media effort to help us combat negative comments there! Feel free to use your .us email address now! You can now start using your COS email address with the .us ending. Everything else remains the same except for the .us instead of .com! This does not require any action on your part. Your old .com address will forward to the new address. If you purchase business cards or any other material with your email address on it, please use the new cosaction.us. Spoiler Alert - you will still need to sign into Citizen Builder with whatever email address you have used in the past! Zulip News Are you having difficulty getting your teams on Zulip. If you need help, reach out to your RD and they can hook you up with assistance! We have dedicated Grassroots leaders who understand the system available to help get you and your team ready to go.
