This update is provided to keep you posted on organizational changes and updates, we are issuing this weekly report each Monday that the National Team meets! Rick offered this very sage advice - As we experience “No's” it is an opportunity to share information and create a “YES”! Let's remember that! Throughout the year, Rick will be traveling to meet not only legislators but also influencers. If you are not familiar with this program, it is a state version of the Emerging Leaders! We need your young people to join us and learn what we are all about. We Have to build the leaders for our future!  We still need your star team members' videos from your state as we revamp COSU to make it more current, and timely. Nothing better than Grassroots teaching Grassroots!! Send us your videos even if you aren't sure we can use them, we will use them for one format or another! According to Statista, this is more than TWICE the number of Americans who died in ALL the wars America has fought in. Weekly Total: 1981. We would like to see a more robust participation with this new format. Please State Directors and SIA's reach out to your teams and help them get going - the issues seem to be largely surrounding getting signed on initially and the mobile app. As we act, learn and adjust, remember, although the absence of notifications is an issue, we all check our FUT, DD, and LMT daily as a matter of habit and we can create the same habit for Zulip. Using the Zulip App is much easier than trying to work in a browser. Help your teams use the platform in the most effective way, have them download the app here: Zulip App.  We still need your prayers for Texas as they work with the Texas Public Policy Foundation to drive passing of the new resolution that will effectively end the Sunset Clause. (HJR98 is the bill. The Senate has added a companion bill SJR 54). The bill was passed in the State Affairs Committee last week, we are praying it will be on the calendar for the floor soon.
