This update is provided to keep you posted on organizational changes and updates. We are issuing this weekly report each Monday that the National Team meets! Even if you agree with a proposed action, you need to understand the pros and cons for yourself not trusting it to the pundits. Mark was on his way to the airport but talked at length about the three things we can control - Who we trust, what we do, and how we respond to any happening or idea. Our trust circle may be small or large but we decide who is in it. We totally decide each day what we will do - either productive or not each day we get up. And how we respond can be centered in the pit of despair or accepting and moving forward with joy! We can be disappointed and still happy, we can be upset and still recognize that letting that drag us down does no good at all. Mark shared that when Mike Farris was striving to get Home Schooling accepted, it took him 25 years to achieve it. Changes on the National Team: We welcome Brett Kulbis, SGC Hawaii to the role of National Veterans Coalition Director as Rodney Huckleberry moves into retirement! Returning to the Emerging Leaders Program is Jack McPherson who will be taking Jackson Allen's role as he helps out at the White House.  Legislative Activity Eyes open for the upcoming Legislative Accomplishments for 2025. Coming soon!!  KUDOS to the Top Most Active DC teams by % in the Passed States - Arizona, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Georgia, and Mississippi. Great Job teams!! District Captain and Volunteer activity is an area we really need to focus on, those activity reports are available to communicate to our donors all the great work each of you are doing out there in the trenches! It only takes a second to file an activity report on your phone or computer. And for those District Captains reading this, we need to strive for 100% activity in Citizen Builder! Important Note - When referencing promotional stats, please confirm you are using accurate numbers. We are nearing 2.7 million petitions. We have 32,800+ volunteers. We are moving away from the ‘5+ million supporters’ number. Let's all make sure we are using this information as cited!  We still need your star team members' videos from your state as we revamp COSU to make it more current, and timely. Nothing better than Grassroots teaching Grassroots!! Send us your videos even if you aren't sure we can use them, we will use them for one format or another! In case you are wondering what to put in those videos, a man on the street review of a booth set up, how to get a petition signed, how to set up a district meeting, short 3-5 minute videos of you doing what you do every day!  Petition Roundup As of Monday the 14th, 2,697,915 people have signed the Convention of States Petition so far. If each of our petition signers held hands and formed a chain, that chain would stretch 2,515 miles (longer than the distance between Los Angeles and New York City!) the wars America has fought in. If you need help, reach out to your RD and they can hook you up with assistance! Let's get our teammates on so we can make it the great communication tool it can be. We would like to see a more robust participation with this new format. Using the Zulip App is much easier than trying to work in a browser. Help your teams use the platform in the most effective way, have them download the app here: Zulip App.  We still need your prayers for Texas as they work with the Texas Public Policy Foundation to drive passing of the new resolution that will effectively end the Sunset Clause. (HJR98 is the bill. The Senate has added a companion bill SJR 54). The bill was passed in the State Affairs Committee last week, we are praying it will be on the calendar for the floor very soon.
