Pass Resolution LR31 To Remove the Sunset Clause

We need to ensure our Resolution 31 is passed prior to Senator Halloran leaving office at the end of this 108th Legislature.

Nebraska needs your voice!

We could see our resolution come for a floor vote in the next couple of weeks.

Please prepare to attend–

* Senate Gallery
* Capitol Bldg
* 1445 K Street, Lincoln, NE.

We need your help:

* ATTEND in person when more details are sent
* Contact your senator and ask them to support LR31: **click here.**

LR31 is the resolution to remove that sunset clause, allowing the COS resolution to remain permanent. It calls for an Article V convention of states to address term limits, fiscal restraints, and federal overreach in Nebraska, without expiring.  A floor vote is coming soon, and we need as many Nebraskans as possible to fill the gallery in support of LR31.

NE legislature passed the Convention of States resolution in 2022 with a sunset clause, an expiration date.

Nebraska state legislature convened on January 3, 2024 and THIS is the year to remove that expiration date.

On January 9, 2024–The Government Committee sent LR31 to to the floor of the full legislature for discussion and vote. Watch for more details to come on date and time.

Senator Steve Halloran is our greatest supporter and will term out after 2024.
It is imperative that we pass LR31 this session.
