NoVA Team addressing state legislators Saturday

Help us demonstrate the strength of COS support this Saturday by joining with fellow northern Virginia (NoVA) team members who are 'speaking up' before State legislators from Fairfax County.

The Fairfax County delegation to the General Assembly will hold a hearing for public comment on the 2018 legislative session on Saturday morning, January 6.

The forum begins at 9:00am in the board room of the Fairfax County Government Center, 12000 Government Center Parkway, Fairfax. Plenty of parking is available in front of the Government Center Building. The hearing ends around noon.

Several Convention of States Virginia activists will make presentations. More COS speakers are needed, as well as supporters of COS to populate the audience.

Only Fairfax County residents may register to speak, and all are asked to register via an online form or by contacting the Office of the Clerk to the Board of Supervisors at 703-324-3151 before noon on Friday, January 5.

Each speaker will be allocated three minutes to address the delegation. When registering be sure to identify yourself as speaking on behalf of Convention of States Virginia, but also inform NoVA Regional Captain Warren Wheeler ([email protected]) so that individual presentation themes can be deconflicted in advance.
