| Nebraska Convention of States Hosts Powerful Rally at the State Capitol The Nebraska Convention of States team held another impactful Rally Day at the State Capitol, bringing together dedicated supporters eager to advance the nationwide movement for an Article V convention. The event featured an inspiring address from Mark Meckler, President of Convention of States Action, who emphasized the urgent need to rein in federal overreach. Meckler laid out the vision for an Article V convention, highlighting how it could restore fiscal responsibility, limit the power of Washington DC, and impose term limits on federal officials. His speech resonated deeply with attendees, reinforcing the idea that citizens, not career politicians, should be in control of America’s future. Pictured below, Meckler speaks at the event:  In addition to the rally, volunteers took part in strategic discussions and hands-on advocacy efforts aimed at maintaining legislative support for the COS application, which Nebraska passed in 2022. The event underscored the importance of grassroots activism, with attendees making a strong case for why their state must take the lead in restoring the Founders' constitutional principles.
