MT House Reps blocking in committee. California COS supporters can make their voice heard.
| California, Montana needs your help–All Hands on Deck Montana Convention of States resolution, HJ 5, is being blocked in committee. In order for us to move forward, TWO committee members need to be persuaded to vote “YES” so that we can get to the full Montana House. We need more voices to ask these House Reps to vote YES on HJ 5. Please take a moment and call these representatives, asking them to support HJ 5: Rep. Nelly Nicol Rep. Morgan Thiel You can leave a BRIEF message for them on the MT capitol switchboard at 406-444-4800. Sample message: “Hello, I am calling to leave a message for Representatives Nicol and Thiel. I am a proud supporter of Convention of States. Please change your NO vote to YES on HJ 5. Thank you!” We need all hands on deck to demonstrate that Article V is needed in Montana. Will you please help us get to our goal of changing them from “NO” to “YES”? |
