Montana House committee to hear COS Resolution

The Montana House Business and Labor Committee will hear from COS grassroots on January 24.

In the film A River Runs Through It, the character of Paul Maclean as portrayed by Brad Pitt declares that “in Montana there are three things we're never late for; church, work, and fishing.”

Add House committee meetings that hear testimony about the COS resolution to the list. Those start early, too.

On January 24 at 8:00 a.m. MT, the Montana House Business and Labor Committee is scheduled to hear testimony regarding House Joint Resolution 5 (HJ 5) – the COS resolution to call a limited-purpose Article V convention that will discuss and propose amendments to reduce the scope and jurisdiction of the federal government.

You can watch the Montana COS grassroots activists – along with Convention of States Action co-founder and senior advisor Michael Farris – testify in favor of HJ 5 and refute objections and myths about Article V on COS LIVE simply by clicking below:

Rep. Shane Klakken, who represents District 37, introduced HJ 5.

It's not church, work, or fishing, but this hearing in Helena is mighty important to the future of the republic. Don't be late!
