MOCOS Wednesday Evening and Saturday Afternoon Training Classes
| Why: This course is required for all Convention of States Missouri volunteers with an assigned role and is intended to cover the technical aspects of your responsibilities and to help you understand how the each volunteer position fits into our mission. In addition, you will be required to take the COS University course specific to your role (where applicable.) These classes cover theory and explain our goals, mission and methods. Please make every effort to complete these courses as soon as possible. Please bookmark this page since the same Zoom link will be used for all classes. Where: This is an online class, please join from your computer. June, 2025 Week 1 - Wednesday 7 to 8:30 p.m. 6/4/25 Week 1 - Saturday 2 to 3:30 p.m. 6/7/25 * Covering: Legal training and the Legislative Management System Week 2 - Wednesday 7 to 8 p.m. 6/11/25 Week 2 - Saturday 2 to 3 p.m. 6/14/25 * Covering: Overview of tools available and responsibilities Week 3 - Wednesday 7 to 8:00 p.m. 6/18/25 Week 3 - Saturday 2 to 3:00 p.m. 6/21/25 * Covering: Citizen Builder (the database section of the Convention of States website) Week 4 - Solo training - see below. Week 4 - Solo training - see below. * Covering: The COSaction email and the Slack messaging systems. We will be doing Week 4 solo with each volunteer who will be using the cosaction email and Slack. This is so that the volunteer can share his/her screen and learn on their system. These two programs appear very differently depending on the type of computer and system.
