Lansing, MI - The Senate Government Operations Committee has scheduled SJR L for a hearing on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. It is very important that you reach out and talk to your Senator ASAP! You can do that simply by using this LINK. Senator Curt VanderWall (Republican-Dist 35), SJR L's prime sponsor in the Michigan Senate, will lead the charge on Thursday in Lansing. = Senator Curt VanderWall (R)-Dist 35 = Sen VanderWall filed SJR L in October of last year anticipating its consideration early in 2020. With the COVID-19 pandemic, those plans were obviously delayed as the focus became very myopic while pushing SJR L down the calendar.  The calendar is now out and SJR L is scheduled for committee!
