MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM WYOMING CONVENTION OF STATES
| It certainly has been a hectic and eventful year for our country and state. It is time for rest and rejuvenation. But while enjoying our celebrations with family and friends let’s cast our minds back to what George Washington was doing on Christmas Day 1776. He and his men crossed the Delaware and in a surprise attack on Trenton they captured almost 1,000 Hessian troops. This was a bold move that helped breathe new life into our fledgling republic. ==== George Washington was instrumental in creating our republic ==== ==== We are instrumental to restoring it ==== Enjoy Christmas celebrations and thank God for our good fortune to live in a country that came about through His grace and the sacrifices of so many in our history. In the new year it’s our turn to continue the battle for our country, channel our inner George Washington. We will be calling on you to take action. As our current and freshmen legislators are sworn in we need to petition them to do their duty, on our behalf, and add Wyoming to the list of states to call for a Convention of States – the process George Washington and others risked their lives to give us. ===== MERRY CHRISTMAS and BLESSINGS FOR THE NEW YEAR ===== |
