Meet Even in the Heat

COS Arkansas has been busy with a flood of activities and flaming activism.

What is an Arkansas spring like? Rain and more rain followed by intense heat. The COS spring in Arkansas has been the same with a flood of activities and then flaming activism.

Here's an overview of some of our spring events:

*Virtual town hall with interviews of candidates sponsored by District 67

*Meeting in Region 3 for those interested in learning more about COS. Four of the attendees volunteered for leadership roles

*Continued monthly meetings and reports of visits to regional government and school board meetings in Region 2

*203 new petition signers and 22 volunteers from District 59

*Congratulations cards sent to newly elected candidates with reminders about the state support behind COS

*Discussions of the proposed 2023 legislative Faithful Delegate resolution

*Several new district captains

*100% activity each month by district captains

In addition, two regions have been conducting trials of a text blast that links directly to the volunteer application page. The first time resulted in eight responses within 30 minutes.

Upcoming events:

Meeting on July 2 to educate people about COS in Region 3 hosted by District 98.

State Strategy Meeting on September 12
