Media and Public Relations Intern
| Tasks * Assist in making calls to the media (radio, print and tv) * Draft media advisories, pitches and other materials * Desire to gain in understanding of what it’s like to work in a PR environment * Create and learn to manage press lists * Assist in keeping the media tracking document up-to-date and searching the Internet for COS mentions in the news * Work with PR Director on other media-related outreach programs Qualifications * Excellent written and oral communications skills * Strong initiative and innate curiosity * Ability to be creative in looking at a news story and connecting the dots to the Convention of States Mission * Proficient in Microsoft Office * Optimal: Desire to work with media and external communications initiatives Send Questions and Applications to internship@cosaction.com. |
