 Hello All COS District 13 House & District 39 Senate Petition Signers & Volunteers! Here's an update on the status of our effort to get Convention of States passed in KS. The Convention of States resolution has been introduced in the Kansas Senate this year. The Senate Federal and State Affairs Committee will hear testimony on Monday, February 3, at 10:30 AM in Room 144-S. You can watch the testimony live stream on COS Live at https://rumble.com/v6et944-public-hearing-in-kansas-senate-committee-on-convention-of-states-cos-live.html Please contact your Senator (Mike Fagg @ 785-296-7678, Michael.Fagg@senate.ks.gov and Representative (Dr. Duane Droge @ 785-296-7380, <[email protected])> to register your support for the resolution. We cannot rely on our newly elected President to right all wrongs in the Federal Government, particularly when there is no guarantee of lasting results pending election in another 4 years. Therefore, we the people need to be involved to assure that the Constitution is applied & modified successfully to prevent future Federal Government overreach. Consequently, we need your continued support to assure that Kansas becomes the next state to pass Convention of States in 2025. Additionally, as you are already aware, our goal is to build an army of engaged self-governing activists. We need more Kansans to sign the petition. The Framers invested vast authority in our state legislatures to be the ultimate check and balance on a runaway federal government. Voting is not enough!
