Louisiana ladies fight to curtail federal overreach.

Convention of States Louisiana Grassroots Coordinator Julie Sandifer (right) delivered a pithy, attention-grabbing presentation at the Baton Rouge Republican Women's Club luncheon.

In just one five-minute speech, she persuaded almost one-fourth of the listeners to sign the COS petition to limit the overreaching power in Washington, D.C. As a result, she and her COS teammate Charlene Stovall collected 15 signatures.

Julie is a teacher by profession. Her talent and instructional skills come alive not only while educating the public but also as she demonstrates how to be a servant leader and a self-governing citizen to her team.

The Louisiana team is steadily growing larger and stronger thanks to Charlene's tireless and dedicated work as a FollowUp Tool Member. When other states need assistance greeting their new supporters, Charlene is always willing to extend a helping hand to her colleagues across the country.

Even in the face of serious personal challenges, Charlene continues to persevere in her commitment to give a prompt welcome to our new petition signers.

Convention of States Louisiana is truly blessed to have these hardworking, influential ladies working together to preserve liberty for generations to come. Both are recent and well-deserving recipients of the COS Patriot Pin, a gift of appreciation awarded for outstanding volunteer service.
