WHAT: ADVOCACY DAY

WHEN: April 15th 2025 - Tuesday

HOW: In Person

WHY: Advocacy Day is a major opportunity for us COS Article V Convention supporters to meet with our state representatives and senators. Here we can thank them for the work they do for us in the state of Louisiana AND educate and inform them about the Convention of States.

According to the Oxford Dictionary, advocacy is public support for and/or recommendation of a particular cause or policy. April 15 is that day for us. It is our opportunity to 1) educate the public and our state congressional representatives about COS; 2) work as a team to amplify our voices on the purpose and NEED for a Article V convention; 3) since we really are “We The People,“ our presence becomes a demonstration to the power our founders vested 'in the people' when they crafted the U.S. Constitution.

We will have a booth, informational handouts, posters, handbooks, pens, pins etc. detailing the virtues of the country's largest grassroots army – that would be us - COS activists. Finally, the Article V petition is there, and everyone who stops by our booth will have the opportunity to sign the petition, ask questions, and learn.
