Dear COS Grassroots Activists,

We are in the process of making our COS branding more consistent across all platforms and on
all banners and tablecloths. Updating our logos and making sure they are used consistently is a
critical part of protecting our trademarks and making sure other organizations can’t impersonate
us. You can help with this project by ‘retiring’ banners and tablecloths with the old COS logo, as
shown below. Convention of States will replace these items

at no cost to you

through a request

process as outlined below.

How to replace your retired logo banners and tablecloths:

1. Retiring your item(s) can be accomplished by cutting the retired logo off of the item,

drawing over the retired logo with a permanent marker, or memorializing the retired logo by
framing it or by other creative means. Once one of these options is completed, take a photo
of each item being retired. This photo will be submitted with the attached “Retired Logo
Banner and Tablecloth Request Form.”

2. Complete the “Retired Logo Banner and Tablecloth Request Form,” making sure to select

the same type and quantity of item(s) being retired.

3. Email the completed form to the email address on the form: [email protected], with

the photo(s) showing your retired item(s).

4. Once we receive the completed form and verify the retirement of your item(s), we will place

an order for the replacement supplies for you.
