| Convention of States supporters in Virginia’s Sixth U.S. Congressional District will be on hand when Republican Party members gather at a convention this Saturday, May 19, at the James Madison University Convocation Center in Harrisonburg. Convention delegates will select several party officials and a candidate to run for the seat currently held by retiring U.S. Congressman Bob Goodlatte. (Check here if uncertain whether you vote in the Sixth District.) COS is non-partisan, having no position on party officeholders or candidate selections. Participation by our volunteers is made possible by private contributions, not COS funds. They are on hand to educate, motivate, and activate new COS supporters among these Sixth District activists. Facebook Live Event As delegates gather Saturday morning, Virginia State Director Chris Walker will be on hand hosting a live event on the COS Virginia Facebook page. Chris will kick it off at 8:45am. Just by watching the event on our Facebook page will help boost this live event’s reach to others, including people not yet familiar with or active in supporting COS. By adding a comment or reacting to the video, you will help spread our reach even further. So, please mark your calendar for this Saturday morning at 8:45 am. Grab a cup of coffee and see what your fellow COS supporters are up to in Harrisonburg, or just let it play in the background as you get your day underway. Every little bit helps in our ceaseless campaign to spread awareness and attract new supporters.
