Liberty Music Festival Draws Crowd

As support from Connecticut residents increases, so our confidence grows that our legislators will embrace and pass the resolution in the 2022 session.

Hubbard Park in Meriden, CT, was the venue for the first ever Liberty Music Festival on Sunday, September 26. Convention of States team members Lisa Jolley, Dennis Crowe, David deHaas and Tom Alvord mingled with the crowd, obtaining 78 signatures on the petition asking our State legislators to support an Article V convention of states.

District Captain Lisa Jolley was allowed to speak to the crowd about the Convention of State’s application to rein in the Federal government, restore fiscal responsibility and impose term limits on Congress, the judiciary and Federal bureaucrats. The response was very enthusiastic.

As support from Connecticut residents increases, so our confidence grows that our legislators will embrace and pass the resolution in the 2022 session.
